"Nice hotel in good location spoilt by the owner's dog which barked at all hours right outside the hotel room window. Had to sleep with windows all shut despite the lack of air to try and get sleep. The guests should take preference of the pet."

"This was our third time at Tropicana beach & we've already booked for nxt year. The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly, funny and they make you so welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool and bar area are very clean, inviting and have the most wonderful views. We ate here several times ie. Breakfast, wraps, soups , burgers and sandwiches. Everything tasted very good. Food was well presented and plentiful. The location is great. The dolmus pulls up outside frequently and there's also near-by taxi office. I can't praise this apart/hotel enough and cannot wait to go back. Thank you for another amazing holiday ❤️"

"Poor quality of services. Dirty beach (this is cigaret beach instead of sandy beach). Lot of strays dogs and cats inside/around the hotel and on the beach. There is not any shopping or fun around the hotel (just 3 small market shops and one restaurant)."

"We stayed here overnight before joining a boat sailing from Bodrum to Gocek. This is a mid-level hotel, not top end but then you are not paying top end prices. The hotel is clean, well kept, functional and well-staffed. The hotel is well located and walking distance to local beaches. There is a nice bar, poolside dining and breakfast area. We have six in our family so moving everyone around involves some logistics. We had multiple trips and things to organise including to Scorpio’s Bar and return at 1:00 am (exiting at that time with a large crowd onto a narrow coastal road is characteristically chaotic). A key benefit of the Lume is that it is family run and they apply their extensive local knowledge to assist you navigate the typical challenges of being in a large, busy coastal area like Bodrum. Thus, they organised trusted drivers at fixed prices, they were fine with us calling at 12 midnight to get back from Scorpio’s, they gave us great tips about local beaches, they extended our checkout given our boat was a late afternoon departure, if we were waiting outside the hotel for a driver they brought us chilled water to drink and they gave us careful advice about traffic and the real time it would take to get from A to B. They did all this without rushing us whenever we had queries. Above all, they were genuine and very pleasant to deal with."
