Bodmin Holiday Park

Just spent 4nights at this park and must say it been the best out of the holidays we have had so far this year and booked again for October .. for 19 years we used j/ fowler holidays but never again . This site is well kept and the people on reception are first class . If you are looking for a nice few days away this is the place to go ( don’t wast your time with par sands )

After visiting the park to use the pool we decided to book for a weekend stay to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Unfortunately this was unable to happen as we planned but we went anyway. We arrived on a very wet Friday evening…. After 5pm. The bungalow was a good size and the hot tub was excellent. Unfortunately there were a lot of issues to disappoint. Filthy toilet brushes, a dirty toilet, dirty bathroom tiles, disqusting frying pan, not enough glasses , a broken blind….one super thin pillow on each bed… Yes we should have complained at the time but to be honest you should not arrive and then have to complain about your accommodation…. It should be checked and be up to a good standard.Although we did enjoy our stay , We will not visit again.

We went to the restaurant part for mother's day Sunday lunch , and with me being very fussy about food , everything was absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend going there and we will be going again. Clean ,spacious , service was lovely, the new chef did a fabulous job . Well done all involved.

We returned last week from a 5 day stay at bodmin holiday park, we all had a lovely time and could happily have stayed longer, the park itself is lovely and peaceful set in beautiful country side surroundings, we had a 3 bed lodge which was spotlessly clean and come with 3 bathrooms two of which were ensuite, the dressing gowns and slippers on arrival was a nice touch too, the park itself has a small but very nice swimming pool, tennis courts which we enjoyed and a two lovely lakes to walk around or fish if you want to, the bar and restaurant was very nice as was the food in the restaurant, all the staff were so friendly and helpful and a special mention to Erika behind the bar who was excellent and a great laugh everytime we saw her, all in all we had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning when we can.

Everything we hoped for and more. What a lovely holiday park not our normal type of park as we normally go to one with entertainment, arcades etc but i didnt miss that at all. Park was clean and quiet. We stayed in Lodge 69, it was clean and everything we needed. Some furniture is stained etc but no where is perfect. The hot tub was amazing and i wish i could of taken it home....i miss my 11pm hot tub session staring at the stars. The food was lovely and service was 1st class. Erika was excellent even when a customer in a suit (who looked totally out of place) was rude when she asked how the food was. My dad went fishing and caught a few fish so that made him happy. Amazing holiday and amazing holiday park....hopefully will be back soon.

The accommodation was beautiful very spacious and clean. Everything we needed I.e towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioners in all bathrooms. Fluffy robes and slippers for all to use during our stay. Everything we needed in the kitchen even washing up liquid, a cloth and dishwasher tablet. The staff were very approachable and helped with anything we needed. The barmaid Erika was amazing always cheerful, happy and she made our stay very welcoming xxx
