The owner is kind, and the staff is also very polite in their interactions. When you're not feeling well, they even have the kindness to make porridge for you. They are fluent in both Japanese and English, which provides a sense of reassurance.

Very nice people, really helpful and caring. If you ask for something they will help you. There was hot water in the shower every day, what is quit exceptional in Bodhgaya. I stayed here for two months, it was my home away from home. Reasonably clean.

The people working there was truly amazing. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner and the people working there. Got served an amazing dinner at the roof top terrasse with a great view. I would really recommend everyone to stay at this guest house if traveling to Bodh Gaya. They will help you get a local guide to visit temples and other attractions in the city.

This hotel’s location is awesome!! You can go to the main temple by walking easily and see the one from this hotel’s rooftop 🙂 In addition, this hotel has good hospitality. Every staff is so kind and friendly, so if you stay here, it will be an excellent experience 👍

Great prices, good food, awesome service. Stay was enjoyable and hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who is travelling to Gaya for the first time, as it is located in a fairly central location to all the visitor's hot spots and food locations

This was my second stay at Hotel Sakura House and I am even happier to make this my home base for my visits to Bodhgaya. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Hotel amenities are also great, including a lovely rooftop view, spacious , clean, and well-apportioned rooms, and strong wifi signals throughout the property. The location is in the sweet spot of Bodhgaya, in my opinion. You are within a stone's throw of the temples and monasteries on and near Japanese Temple Road, but are also within an easy walk to the Mahabodhi Temple. As such, the bulk of Bodhgaya's restaurants and shops are also within an easy shop. That said, the hotel is also set back from the road so it has a quiet and serene atmosphere relative to the location. As a repeat guest, I highly recommend Hotel Sakura House for your stay in Bodhgaya!

Great place to stay at in Bodh Gaya. Stayed there during the Dalai Lama teachings. Mahabodhi temple and Kalachakra teaching ground are easily reachable by foot in about 10min. Both owner and staff are very friendly and speak english. Food is good and can be consumed on the rooftop with nice view of the city.

日本語をオーナーさんがいます。人間不信になりそうなインドですが、ここのスタッフは日本人の特性をとても理解されている方で、信頼できます。一緒に晩御飯を食べて楽しい時間を過ごせました。建物は改装をして清潔に保たれている印象でした。

ブッダガヤと言えば絶対《サクラハウス》！！ オーナーもオーナーの仲間たちも スタッフも全員 優しく楽しくて家族のように迎えてくれて 毎日最高でした！！ さらに全員日本語ペラペラは嬉しい なんでも相談できちゃう。 毎朝ルーフトップで食べる チャイと朝食がとても美味しくて ルーフトップで感じる ブッダガヤの空気感もすごく好き。 可愛い看板犬もいます。癒されます♪ 外に出ると目の前にも美味しいチャイ屋さん。 (ここのファミリーもまた素敵) 大菩提寺マハボディまでは毎日 お買い物ストリートを通って歩いて行けて 立地もサイコー！ 夜帰ってきたら またルーフトップで星を見て 素敵な時間でした。 部屋もキレイでシャワー水圧もバッチリ！ (ただ暖房は無くて寒いので冬は対策をしていくことをオススメ) オーナー、 オーナーの仲間たち、 スタッフのみなさん、 ブッダガヤの素晴らしい毎日を ありがとうございました！！！
