Pipestem Spa, Event Center and Mountain Chalets

Our family enjoyed our stay at Pipestem Resort. We traveled to the area for snow tubing. The cabins are clean & the beds are comfortable. The host (Anna) is very accommodating. We were snowed in & had to spend an extra night & Anna was very helpful. Great place to stay! Will visit again.

Comfortable and spacious. Right across from Pipestem park. Great as far as WV goes! If you come to town recommend fishing with Outcast Fishing!

Beautiful and quite location.

I am shocked by the complete lack of professionalism displayed by the Pipestem Spa manager, Anna Ferraraccio. I was applying for a massage job at the spa and called reception, they were kind but had little to no information in regard to the LMT position they were filling. That’s fine, she directed me to a manager. I sent my information and requested a follow up call. After a short email correspondence with the manager I was finally able to get the manager on the phone. After the usual pleasantries, I was immediately met with Anna Ferraraccio’s clear frustration and irritation that I declined her invitation to come to the spa personally and give her a massage, and insisted on a preliminary phone call to assess and gather information prior to. This irritation and frustration on Ms F’s part escalated throughout the short call. She felt the need to share her frustration about her employees/past employees and that she’s ‘sick and tired of training people for them to just leave!’ I can only speculate as to what motivated previous employees to leave… but this phone call was illuminating to me. My simple questions (regarding my schedule preferences, and if they would be acceptable/workable) were met with condescension from Anna Ferraraccio: ‘OBVIOUSLY we know that people have lives outside of work,’ ‘we’ve been doing this a long time, we know what we’re doing.’ People that have respect and feel confident in their abilities don’t usually feel the need to clarify such things in this manner. I was suspicious but continued the call. My standard questions regarding the pay structure were met with an increasingly short attitude. Her expressive anger escalated to the point she even felt the need to curse at me over the phone using the F word. I was shocked and disappointed. The lack of professionalism from the manager of this spa makes me extremely suspicious about how she communicates and treats customers and employees. This is how the leadership here acts. I have no faith in the Pipestem Spa to show the most basic level of respect. I wouldn’t trust them with my time or money and I wouldn’t recommend you do either.
