Homestead Inn - Blowing Rock

Loved this place. Extremely clean and nicely decorated. We are picky when it comes to hotels. This one met the mark. It's our favorite in Blowing Rock so far - and we've stayed at many. We will definitely be returning. Friendly staff, walkimg distance to all things on Main st.

The room was very clean, the staff was welcoming, and its in a perfect location. Won’t hesitate to book again next time we’re in town.

Enjoyed an extended fall weekend trip with a friend and our pups here. The King Deluxe (#6) was so cozy, comfy and super clean. Nice quality bed linens. Towels can use a refresh but were clean. Loved the gas fireplace & ginormous tv in room, as well as coffee bar and mini fridge. Pulling up to the room made unloading and loading car convenient. Landscaping is beautiful. Staff in the office is friendly. Super convenient and walkable to the main streets of downtown Blowing Rock. My and my friend’s only disappointment, which was considerable with the bad weather we had and for late night trips out with pups, was having to either walk across the street or behind the bldg to an drive with narrow grass strip for our pups to potty. Pups are not allowed in any grassy areas of the courtyard and streets are not grass-lined. And for some reason our 2 small pups were averse to going into the nicer pet area across the street. Both of them preferred to go on street or in gravel instead. Not sure why that was. We did notice the ground was considerably more wet for some reason in gated potty areas, so perhaps that why. Disclosing more info on pet relief options /locations would have been helpful on the website and to know in advance of booking. Otherwise, the Homestead Inn was delightful.

We had a great time !!! It was a great stay as always!!! We have stayed here a few times over the years,and it's always a pleasant stay!!! Always a friendly & welcoming staff might I add !!!

Blowing Rock is such a charming and highly energetic city and the Homestead certainly fits that local vibe. The place is quaint and has a very hometown feel. I cant imagine staying anywhere else nor would I want to. The Homestead is family run and you can tell as all the staff, starting with Chris go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable and stress free. The property is bursting with the colors of fall with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy and take in the beauty of the property. It certainly added to my experience of Blowing Rock.

Very comfortable and especially nice to have a fenced in dog run! We also appreciated the beautiful plantings in the yard and around our lovely cabin.
