We received a fabulous welcome from the lovely and friendly but unobtrusive owners. They really care about their guests and try to make everything just perfect! Our accommodation was great. The choice for breakfast was considerable and my son and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon. It's perfect for visiting Glasgow, Stirling and Loch Lommond and The Trossacks. The location is stunning as the photo proves, that was the view from our room this morning...bliss!

Great place to stop just off the West Highland Way, hosts were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Will absolutely recommend staying here if you're looking for somewhere to stop early on the trail. Also donated to the charity we are walking for. Marvellous!

Wow...the word that pretty much sums the who experience up. One 1 night camping on a maiden voyage for a new tent at Ardoch House...and what a place to chose. A variety of camping locations to chose from on such a huge spread of land, open field, rough camp or in the woods. Open fires aloud in a selection of places. The friendly, laid back and extremely helpful staff will bend over backwards to help you out in any circumstances. A 10 to 15 minute walk to near village...Pub, Shop and takeaway. Amazing views. I loved it and will be back soon. Thank you Drew and Audrey.

The place is incredible offering a very comfortable and rewarding view of the surroundings.It’s quiet,serene,scenic and clean with amazing host (Andrew) and his very humbled staff! We stayed only a night but wish our stay was longer! There is ample space for campers and you contribute to also the goodwill of helping homeless people(the owner explained how they do their bit towards the noble cause) Perfect

I stayed for 1 night with my partner and 11 year old daughter in the Bell tent. It was a cold night but we had quilts and sleeping bags so we were cosy. The hotel facilities are good lovely clean showers. Lovely warm lounge room with log fire. 24 hr access to tea and coffee. Owner is lovely and the rest of the staff very friendly. The surroundings are beautiful. Would definitely stay again but in the summer

Pretty much perfect! All essential van services are available, clean, hot, modern showers, beautiful grounds and a breathtaking view. All shops, and essential services available at nearby Milngavie. Glengoyne distillery just down the valley. A good base for exploring Glasgow which is only 25 min away from Milngavie by train.

Fantastic campsite with lots of interesting projects going on (both completed and in-progress), the staff are so lovely, including Andrew the owner. The whole place is clean and well-maintained, easy to navigate around and plenty of facilities. The area around the site is gorgeous, it's right next to a stunning mountain view and beautiful woodland you can go walking in. There are several shops nearby (20 mins walk) and one that offers delivery. I got chatting with many of the staff and other solo travellers, and really enjoyed how varied the people were, from all walks of life and backgrounds, and how kind everybody was. The atmosphere on site is wonderful, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe!

Great grounds surrounded by woodlands yet not far from Glasgow. I’ve been here before and can highly recommend the place, catering for everyone with various staying options. Either within the hotel (nice period building), outside options include nice glamping tents and areas for motorhomes or caravans. Owner & staff down to earth 👌🏻

A great place to stay, a nice clean campsite with plenty of amenities, toilets, showers, hot meals, even the possibility of having a washing done for you, The owner Andru and his staff were friendly and accommodating, they cater for motorhomes, campers, people with tents and even have some rooms available, can get busy but that's only because it's such good value, Many thanks from Rob and Dot
