The Royal Windsor Hotel

Absolutely disgusted by the amount I’ve paid for such small room for 5 £270 for 2 nights and my daughter had no were to sleep had to sleep in her pushchair room was tiny went downstairs to tell someone the celling was pouring with water due to the rain never got offered any help to sort it had to stick a container I had under it and it was were my daughter pushchair had to fit told them when we left and all we got was it’s an old building does not matter weather it’s old or not it should be maintained properly to charge guests that price and also went to have a shower both nights and water was freezing ran the taps in the sink for 15 mins and stayed cold same goes for shower. The cups that’s left on the side were dirty aswell as cracks every were on the celling and window frames

I had to walk the streets at 4 am with my disabled nephew who is 10 from another hotel as the manager and her partner where absolutely killing each other we went in to this hotel with £75 quid and the room was £59 and the deposit was £50 they allowed us to pay £50 for the room and £25 deposit they went above and beyond to help us and where the only people that did I will 1000 percent be back I have stayed here several times before and always had a great experience nothing like the DUMP I originally booked

Blackpoo! Clean sheets and an acceptable shower are the only real good points. Had to pay extra for parking, a £50 damage waiver (In cash), the view from the window was of a wall and a flat roof, covered in rubbish and dirty daipers. When it rained, the ceiling of the ground floor bar leaked badly, which was quite spectacular as the building is at least 3 storeys high! The sink was too small to fill the kettle and the door was off the hinges, causing difficulty in opening and closing the door, which may have been dangerous. On the day of leaving, there was sewage coming back through the drains. The smell was horrendous and it was impossible to stay in the room... Shall I mention the squeeling kids and scumbag couples that argued all night and kept us awake?! And it's THREE QUID for a cup of instant coffee!

How tge hell is this place still open. Pinching money off people. We was booked in and paid for 2 nights when we arrived the hole was all locked up and nobody answering the door or the phone. Leave well alone folks we say a dodgy looking fella run out of the fro t door and disappear into next door clearly trying to avoid us which he did.

Not what we thought we were getting when we got in the family room mattress so thin and very dirty stains all over them and a wooden board on the bottom bunk, bed on top was held on by metal bar kids felt bar it was sagging so bad no towels. The staff were amazing working very hard credit to the hotel

First impressions are grim trust your Instincts Missing sinage in hotel name broken windows, cigarette stumps littering the entrance Car park is an uneven bit of land at the back of the hotel and difficult to find tables and chairs in the communal/bar are are old worn and dirty Carpet is disgusting You have to pay a £50 refundable deposit - they should pay you to stay there They advertise evening entertainment this is just karaoke and children running around everywhere Needs closing down as surely doesn't meet inspection criteria Didn't risk breakfast Never again
