The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The room was in terrible condition and the bathroom was dirty. The AC only ran at full blast so everything in the room was slightly wet from the flash cooling and warming. Not a single staff member is in a uniform or wearing a name badge.

The valet staff was the best part of our stay. The room was completely disproportionate. The bedroom area was rather small while the bathroom was large but not well appointed. There was no towel rack near the shower and still only one hook. No toilet paper in the room upon arrival. No luggage rack. Bathroom floor was filthy, in fact, I threw my slippers away instead of packing them to bring home because they were black on the bottom. The shower leaked onto the floor and the outlet came off the wall when I removed the plug for the hairdryer. I gave 2 stars because the valet was great and the bed was somewhat comfortable. I wish I could say more positive things but I simply cannot. This place needs some TLC. We are Hilton Honors and have stayed at many of the other Hilton properties in Birmingham. This was by far the worst.

Good price. Hotel was a bit tricky to find though. Will be on the list of places to stay next visit to Birmingham

Excellent stay! Highly friendly staff! The door men/valets were very sweet and helpful. Lauren the bartender was the absolute best! My sister and I visited with her for hours. She is a true gem! The chef even came out and gave us some little cheesecakes that he was working on to get our feedback… I’d definitely recommend this property based on the staff alone!

The staff is fantastic. It was an excellent location for quick access to downtown and UAB. By far though, the staff were AMAZING!!! Everybody from the valet to the front desk, bartender, and cleaning staff was soooo friendly. I travel a LOT and I can’t think of the last time staff was that friendly. Maybe I just haven’t been to AL in a long time, but there were exceptional.

Beautiful property Beautiful property that was once an insurance office. The marble in the hallwayswas stunning. The only thing missing from the room was a refrigerator and it was very expensive to park.
