The Garden Bungalow

Stayed at the property for two nights in their first floor large rooms. Found the room full of mosquitoes upon reaching the hotel and asked for a Good night mosquito repellent over and above the existing one. This was given but then the existing one was almost empty so for a new refill which was refused initially but given later. There after ask for two additional bed sheets but again which was refused initially but given later. Had to buy a hit spray from the market in order to cope up with the mosquitoes. However, the only caretaker available at the property, Mr Pal, was quite attentive and also the lady who was available remotely over phone all a long during our stay was also quite from dinner response. The food was okay but a bit on the expensive site considering the place. The toilets where wet and the plumbing was exposed and I could see molds at the corner and also large cracks on the wall of the room at various places. No exhaust fans in the toilet. The stairc cases were quite narrow and it would be difficult for elderly people to climb up in the top floor rooms. Overall a very average day and will not stay again.

Horrible Horrible Horrible... When we first stepped in, we could find no one to talk to. We called the number and they said there will be someone checking us in. After waiting for almost 45mins, a person came and started checking in other people who came much later than us. When we asked for the reason, he started being abusive and quarelled to the best of his ability. We were tired and asked if we could at least have lunch while they check us in, they said that time for ordering lunch was over and no food will be available. So we requested them if we can at least keep ours bags and get lunch elsewhere. They took some more time and somehow finally check in was done after much chaos. There was no water in the washroom when we checked in. They said that they have switched on the pump and we will have water later. We went for lunch outside and came back after sometime. Thankfully water problem was resolved. I told them that by what time we need to order dinner? They said 6pm. So we ordered dinner beforehand. The night went however peaceful and the rooms were spacious but for any need it is hard to find any person to attend you. In the morning (at around 8am) they informed that there will be no breakfast as we did not inform earlier. Only tea would be available that too without any biscuits. We again had to set out and get breakfast from outside and come back. We got ready and left this horrible place. The Bungalow is undoubtedly beautiful but the customer service is such as if they are doing you a favour by letting you in. They mainly make money from photoshoots and hardly care about family/group/individual travellers. There are many beautiful resorts around, stay away from this one. Their apathy towards their guests' requirements is appalling!!!!

Great place for a weekend gateway in Prantik . Well behaved stuff. Homely food , great ambience . Its a Home away from Home .Well maintained clean spacious rooms. Highly recommended for a peaceful gateway with Family . You should definitely book the Bahar Hall.
