Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. While the hotel itself is nice, our overall experience was impacted by a broken air conditioning system. The aircon in our room wasn’t working, and despite approaching the staff five times to request a room change, we were forced to stay in a warm room for the entire first day. Although they sent three staff members to check the issue, it wasn’t until the second day that they finally moved us to a different room. While we do appreciate that they eventually addressed the issue, the delay and lack of urgency made the first night uncomfortable and unpleasant. The staff could have been more proactive in resolving the matter sooner. Given our experience, we hope the hotel will improve its response to guest concerns in the future. Based on this stay, however, we would hesitate to recommend the hotel unless you can be certain that all amenities are fully functional.

Book A Room With Balcony With Pool View But Was Not Able To Check In As Front Desk Didn't Reserved It. This Was Terrible! Pools Was Great And Dining Was Awesome by Chef Jullie. Customer Service Was Terrible In Handling Guest Request. Room In Level And Six Floor Was Not Cold As The room Temperature Reached 25°c . Front Desk Manager Niko Had It His Best To Arrange Room For Us. During Our 1st Day Check In . We Have Wasted Our Whole Day Waiting For The Staff To Arrange Us A Room. 1st Room 5072 ( Aircon Not Working) 2nd Room 3081 Was Great But Again Is Not What We Booked. 3rd Room 5108 ( Air Con Again Not Working )! Finally The Front Desk Manager Upgrade Us To Suite. F&B manager Mr Kaka And F&B Staff Mr Christ Were Great And Friendly that Made Our Days While Waiting Room . Imagine Whole Day Been Waiting And Changing Room which Is Not Our Booked Room! Front Desk Staff customer Service Was Terrible And Not Professional As Well. We recently stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The air conditioning in our room was not working, and the room became unbearably warm, making it impossible to sleep. Despite reporting the issue to both the reception and the manager, no one offered to relocate us to another room. When we requested a fan, we were told they didn’t have any available, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the bed sheet had a stain, which is not acceptable for any hotel, especially at this price point. The room was supposed to be for three people, but they only provided us with two towels, robes, and toiletries. We had to call several times to request the additional bed and necessary amenities, which were eventually delivered, but it should not have taken that much effort. The hotel is in a location without any nearby restaurants, and the dining options within the hotel were limited, with very few choices on the menu. While the staff were friendly, the lack of basic amenities and the air conditioning issue really affected our stay. Unfortunately, the discomfort and lack of sleep completely ruined what could have been an enjoyable vacation. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed.
