This park is a vast improvement over the way it was. They are currently expanding the site and have upgraded many of the cabins. The amenities are still old but very clean, as are the cabins. The new owners are great! Really friendly and nice people. Easy to get along with and fun. This our new regular stopover. But you need to book way ahead because they’re usually fully booked. This will no doubt be better once the new sites are open. It’s a pity that this park has so many bad reviews from before the new owners, as this unjustly lowers their rating.

The new owners are very friendly. The amenities are old but clean. Great place for our overnight stay and very reasonably priced. So long as you are not looking for 5 star accommodation this is a great place to stay. Would happily recommend it.

Our group of 4 adults stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights. It was a bit cramped but we managed. The cabin is budget (old & in need of work) but adequate. Unfortunately the hot water system failed us mid shower & cooking tripped the electrical safety switch every few minutes so that was annoying. I also found it strange that the cabin sleeps 6 yet only 2 chairs at the table, 2 teaspoons, 4 forks & not much space in the bathroom to hang towels.

Great manages, they were very helpful & friendly during our stay. Our dog was very welcome. The park is a little dated with updates planed. The amenities are clean.The park has a large worker population who are friendly.
