Could not be faulted. Conveniently across from the beach. Stylish and comfortable room. The website does it a disservice! Effective soundproofing - we slept well. Awesome breakfasts, delightful and helpful staff. We left refreshed. Highly recommended.

The Hôtel de la Plage is a small property (some 20 bedrooms in all) in what is perhaps the most central location in the whole of Biarritz, overlooking the "petite plage" and the "rocher de la vierge" and surrounded by the town's best bars, restaurants and shops. Some bedrooms afford great views of the beach and the sea, and ours was well-appointed, generously sized and funkily decorated. Staff are very friendly (we spoke French, but I assume they also speak English) and professional, although there is also a very informal vibe that perfectly suits the hotel and the location. Breakfast could have a bit more variety, but it was sufficient and of good quality. We loved the rooftop bar, which is a great place to watch the world go by directly below. While Biarritz, especially in high season, is not a great place to drive, there is plenty of parking space not far from the hotel, and it is easy to walk around.

Trendy hotel were you experience the perfect holiday feeling. Comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, nice breakast. The hotel lies in the centre of Biarritz and is located nearby the beaches, old fishermen town, shops,.... A good choice!!

Superb boutique hôtel newly refurbished with a modern and quirky interior decor. Very well located in the center of Biarritz on the port vieux, calm and serene atmosphere. The staff is all very welcoming and friendly. The place to stay in Biarritz! 🏄🏄♀️🌊👌🏻

A very comfortable, small nautically themed boutique hotel with excellent access to Biarritz coastal scenery. Great breakfast, wonderful staff and rooftop bar with exceptional views. Close to many bistros and bars.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel de la Plage. The hotel is perfectly situated to explore Biarritz and also to take in the beautiful views of the sea and Rocher de la Vierge. The Rooftop was a particular highlight!

Hotel de la Plage feels like an oasis that’s off the beaten path, though it’s truly in the middle of it all! The interior of the hotel immediately relaxes you. The entire staff is so accommodating, and we really appreciated that, because the rooftop truly becomes a hot spot at night, but we were always taken care of. We really loved enjoying our breakfast on the rooftop as well. It’s so wonderful to have such easy access to the intimate, horseshoe-shaped beach, Plage du Port Vieux. We would definitely return if we’re lucky to find ourselves in Biarritz again!

We enjoyed a splendid time in this beautiful gem. What made our stay particularly special was the careful attention to detail: the countless well-considered and thoughtful small touches. Excellent location, service, dining, accommodation and the many little things that make a big difference. We would love to return some day!

This hotel is new, clean and fresh and the interior is very nice. Breakfast is of good quality rather than quantity which we likes. On sunny days the roof top has an amazing view. The personal was very kind and always helpful. The only negative was the pillows which was to high, but in the middle of our stay we could get new ones which solved the problem. We will come back!
