We had lunch here after visiting Beynac Castle - the food was absolutely delicious and the girl who served us charming. Salmon with walnut crumble perfectly cooked & seasoned as was the duck. Feel lucky to have happened upon this restaurant. We sat outside and road did get rather busy (having been very quiet!) so a table away from the road would be preferable. Knocked a star off for this - though no fault of the restaurant.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch overlooking the Dordogne River from the Hotel's balcony. The sliced duck (canard) was perfectly cooked with a subtle sauce and tasty pommes de terre. The desert was Creme Brûlée which did not disappoint neither did the apple with pastry which was light and melt in the mouth. The house wine (Bergerac) was good value. Service was first class and friendly and with good knowledge of English to explain the menu if not fluent in French. Beynac Castle is not to be missed and well worth the climb!

Lunchtime visit and we sat on the terrace by the river. Excellent service, with the waitress criss crossing the road to the restaurant. Two boeuf lunches, one rossini stye were perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce accompanying. Nice location.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Dimitri was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. The room had reversible aircon which was good as it was quite fresh outside. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel and location right on the Dordogne were the high points for us. The food was really good and to walk along the Dordogne after breakfast was a joy.

This restaurant is set on the banks of the Dordoyne river and has indoor, terrace or river bank seating options. The staff were friendly, helpful and able to converse in English. The food was excellent and offered something for everyone in our party of 7, including a child. We would gladly visit again, and would particularly recommend the salmon with walnut crumb to anyone booking a meal here!

Stayed a single night on a self guided walking tour. Staff accepted the reservation from the tour company, but on arrival I was told that the owner no longer liked the tour company so refused to honour my booking. They had a budget room available so I took it and paid for it myself (tour company reimbursed). Staff were very apologetic and treated me very, very well indeed. Dinner was very good (tagliatelle aux cepes avec fois gras) but I was a bit disappointed that I could not sit on the terrace by the river. It only had tables for four and they would not give them to anyone dining alone (even though several were vacant). If I could take the staff and move them to another hotel, I would gladly stay there.

Bonjour, Inutile de vous y déplacer en famille... En effet, alors que plusieurs tables étaient disponibles à côté l'une de l'autre et en face du sublime point de vue sur la Dordogne (il faut le reconnaître), la personne en charge du service, nous a recalés, avec le sourire (il faut le reconnaître aussi) en nous indiquant que ces tables étaient destinées "aux petits couples amoureux"... Nous étions 3 couples mariés fidèles et amoureux dont un depuis plus de 48 ans, avec 2 enfants issus de ces unions. La personne en question, en contrepartie nous proposait une table de l'autre côté de la route avec vue sur la départementale... On en a conclu qu'aux yeux de ce restaurant, le bien-être des "petits couples amoureux" était plus précieux que celui des familles. Nous avons bien entendu refusé leur proposition, nous ne nous prononcerons donc pas sur le reste de leurs services. Bien à vous

Une super soirée passée dans ce restaurant avec un cadre de vue exceptionnel de la terrasse panoramique ! Je recommande cette cuisine de qualité avec des produits frais et locaux. Je remercie les patrons et toute l’équipe pour leur accueil et leur professionnalisme.

Alleen een voorgerecht er genomen door gebrek aan tijd. Na overleg mocht dit. De foie gras op 2 manieren met een glas Monbazillac. Lekker. We kregen er ook wat extra brood bij maar dat was echt zo hard als een kei. Mooie omgeving, aan de rivier. Het kasteel van Beynac en Castelnaud aan te raden.
