L'Orto Degli Angeli

This is a lovely old-world hotel affiliated with an amazing restaurant. I might have gladly returned to this hotel if it hadn't been for a 107 euro fine for unloading my bags at the hotel. The hotel said they have an arrangement with the local police to allow cars into the old city to load or unload luggage at the hotel. The person at the hotel desk explained they contact the police to let them know when cars are driving in. But alas, six months later, I received a fine for illegally driving my car to the hotel to unload my suitcases. I asked the hotel for help in contacting the local police, but they ignored me. So if you choose to stay at this hotel, be careful about their claims that it's all right to bring your car into the center. I feel deceived by the hotel and disappointed they made no effort to resolve the problem.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. We were amazed about the scenery, the hotel rooms and the facilities. Like you were thrown back into the Middle Ages with the standards of modern times. Beautiful rooms, excellent service from the hotel staff, fantastic food (breakfast and dinner are a big recommendation). Special note for the hotel manager Arianna, who seems to be working around the clock, and is very customer oriented. Her kindness is a gift to the soul. Go and visit this place!

We had a wonderful stay at a location with so much history. The manager and the staff were very warm and helpful and added to a great experience. The room, food and service were perfect. Don’t forget to check out the restaurant. We will be coming back in the future.

Una splendida residenza del 18⁰ secolo nel centro di Bevagna. La struttura è accogliente con tutte le comodità che un palazzo storico può soddisfare. La cura degli ospiti è impeccabile ed è comincia ben prima del nostro arrivo con la segnalazione al comune del transito dell'auto nella ZTL (che ci ha permesso di scaricare le valige difronte l'albergo) che il pagamento del parcheggio per l'intero periodo di permanenza. La colazione e la cena sono state servite nello splendido giardino all'interno del palazzo con prodotti di qualità eccellente.

Ambiente storico/artistico splendido. Direzione e Personale amabili e disponibili, cucina raffinata, con un tocco di poesia alla prima colazione servita al tavolo in giardino. Il prezzo della camera, con salotto e camino funzionante, ritenuto ragionevole.

Incantevole residenza d'epoca nel cuore dell'Umbria. Suggestiva ed unica la location del ristorante, cibi originali e molto raffinati. Servizio impeccabile, accoglienza ottima, massima disponibilità del personale nell'esaudire i desideri della clientela. Davvero consigliato!

Ons verblijf van 30 december tot en met 02 januari was zeer indrukwekkend. Prachtige locatie, geweldige kamers. Wordt door het zeer vriendelijke personeel en Ariana in de watten gelegd. Het ontbreekt je als gast aan niets. Zeer goede keuken. Oudjaarsavond was een geweldig 9-gangendiner geregeld met live muziek. Zeker een aanrader om naar dit Middeleeuwse hotel en dorp af te reizen.
