Premier Inn Berwick Upon Tweed Hotel

The staff who work in the restaurant are absolutely lovely. We live locally and pop in for breakfast regularly. They are so accommodating, friendly and really kind to the kids. A lovely team and a great asset to Berwick. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we always leave with a spring in our step.

Had an overnight stay here recently and it fully met my expectations of a Premier Inn. The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. I didn’t eat in the hotel but had a drink in the bar and all the staff that I met were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location near the river and there is a free car park nearby. Would go back if the price was right.

Another great stay in Berwick to celebrate a birthday and always lovely to see one of the most friendliest faces each time we return and that is Julia, Julia goes above and beyond recommending where to visit and where to eat nothing was ever a trouble for her, this trip we had mentioned we were celebrating my birthday and Julia surprised me with a lovely birthday card and bunch of flowers, this to me is beyond the service I would ever expect and such a beautiful touch , a real genuine lovely person. Thank you Julia you always make our stay even better than the last one we look forward to seeing you again on our next visit

Great location, great staff, Berwick itself is beautiful. Our room in the Premier Inn (a family room, third floor) was however much too hot, even in February. The air con would not go below a fixed 19 degrees (although we were told by staff that the temperature was in fact 22 degrees). We had to go to reception several times a day to ask them to override the room temperature (which they were very happy to do!). Would not stay here again, God knows what it would be like in the summer! Would definitely go back to Berwick though.

Really nice hotel, staff were really welcoming especially the night staff ( kim & paul ) so thanks for the hospitality and kindness uve all showed us, Hopefully be returning again soon. The area itself was amazing, some nice walks and generally a nice break away.

The hotel is in an excellent position to explore Berwick, lots of good places to eat nearby and right next to the famous walls. The staff are all brilliant and very friendly, especially Julia. Been visiting since it opened and always lovely to come back.
