My family absolutely loved staying here, one of my favourite holidays and we usually go abroad all inclusive in October. We stayed in Seaview, I would definitely go back. I’ve only given it four stars because I wouldn’t want some people turning up thinking it’s going to be pure luxury, no faults etc etc. If you are the type of person who goes around looking for issues, you’ll no doubt find them, but this was a fantastic location, a really special feel to it. The staff are all lovely and can’t do enough for you, it is in the most fantastic spot, the hot tub was great, I absolutely adored going around the kooky castle, the view, the nearby walks… it was magical, original and so so memorable. Half the price of some of the ‘luxury’ lodges we were looking at in Hoseasons and so much more spacious than a caravan.

We were told this site was closed as gone bust. We have booked a lodge for July so went down yesterday to see if this was true. Yes it is true. All closed up but no signs to say they’ve gone bust and no activity on the site. Unable to contact them by email or phone we have e been trying for 3 weeks. We have not had any communication from the Administrators and looks like we have lost our money as paid in full. Do Not Book. The Government website says they went bust in January 2025.

There are lots of positives about the lodges, views, location, peace, comfort and well equipped. The lodges aren't completely modern, but comfortable and good value, especially the hot tub lodges. We also had Seaview, which had a fab view of the harbour. The negatives for us were the lack of advertised facilities. We have stayed twice before and not had the same issues as this time. The bar and restaurant were not open as advertised and the TV in our sitting room never had any signal to watch anything. We did report this twice and unsure if someone came to look at it. Either way, it wasn't fixed!! Having said that, we would stay again because of the location, we were just a bit disappointed in the service this time round.

PROS: All the staff we met were very friendly, polite and helpful. Lodge 33 was clean, warm, and comfortable. Fish and chips from the bar menu were delicious. The setting for the Lodges is lovely. CONS: WiFi isbonly and good in the reception and bar area and useless in the Lodges. Their is an awful lack of sockets in the lounge and bedroom. Charging phones and WiFi are expected in this day and age! Food is not available on Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, and even the bar area and reception shut at 6 pm on Sunday, so no WiFi is available then at all! The shop is not a shop like many sites have. It's a few shelves in the reception, selling a few essentials. Wouldn't book again.

We enjoyed our stay at park life resorts, fantastic location if visiting watermouth castle , only a minutes walk from our lodge, and only a 5 minute drive to Ilfracombe. The lodge was a little dated but very clean. The smart tv was great. We would stay again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful short break here all the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful the Lodge was 1st class everything there that I needed very clean and comfortable I will be booking again and will be recommending
