I liked the clean room with modern furniture, central location next to public transportation, great amenities with kitchen.

Pros: • Kitchen amenities • 2 min walk from public transport. • 2 minute walk from supermarket. • Good amount of room space. Cons: • Aircon with no way to up the temperature (so it was incredibly stuffy) and a broken fan. • Floor was dusty • Area surrounding hotel didn’t feel safe to walk around. • Had to triple text the whatsapp line to get a response from them.

Unfortunately check in/out processes a bit confusing the procedure was not stated clearly with step by step, but still we managed to check in/out at last. The room is big for 2 and has enough places for luggage storage and other things, WiFi good ... kitchen fully equipped. The lobby's waiting area is very comfortable. Very convenient to have shops just round the corner and next to the tram station. We definitely recommend Smartments Berlin and consider it again for our next stay.

Had a great stay here! The room is spacious, clean and modern with all the comforts you need. There is luggage lockers, laundry and common area on the ground floor making it suitable for all types of travellers. The building is very secure and has an inviting vibe from the moment you walk in. I would recommend completing the guest information via the Hotel Bird app before you arrive to ensure check in is easy. The hotel emails you a great information pack on the first day about using the amenities which is really helpful. It is close to the train station, eateries, supermarket and pharmacy so you have access to everything you may need. However, if you are looking for nightlife in Berlin this is not the right area to stay as there is not a lot going on. The only two pieces of feedback would be the comforters felt a little dusty and there was some dust under the bed as well. The english instructions to use the laundry could be clearer.

Very convenient location next to a stop on the Ringbahn - with a handy kebab place right across that seemed to be open all hours. Room was clean and had a well equipped little kitchen. Mattress was comfortable but the pillows were quite lumpy. If you sleep with open windows, expect noise during the night from ambulances going to the hospital nearby but no problem when windows are closed. I could not get the air conditioning to work - a fan was provided but I found it too noisy. Overall, good value for money, especially if you are going to be out most of the time and it is just a place to sleep.

Very nice room, had everything we needed. Great location for public transport. Bed was comfortable but could have done with extra pillows. Never saw anyone at reception. One night, someone threw up in the elevator and I reported it via WhatsApp, but it took a while to be cleaned (and the other elevator didn't work). The turkish takeaway just outside is highly recommended.

Bathroom was dirty and they blamed me for not reaching out to their staff to help clean the room when no one picked up the phone when I called the hotel

Great hotel, I’ve stayed here more than once already and always had a good experience. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it’s very easy and comfortable to cook for yourself. The bathroom was clean, and the bed was also very comfortable. Overall, I really like this place and would definitely stay here again.
