June Six Hotel Berlin City West

The hotel location is nice, but everything else is very annoying. Too much noise in the room (102). TV turned on 3 time by itself!!!! Or maybe the walls are so thin and TV controlled by neighbours. Hotel pictures are better than what you get in reality. I don’t recommend it at all.

Door lock broken. Fix suggested is to call front desk to have them open remotely (not very safe but hey). They never answer the phone. Ever. Room hot as hell and cannot be adjusted without code. If you book through a site like this you cannot use self check in so have to wait for staff. No staff. Room super tiny. Clean but so tiny I cannot sit in desk chair without moving bed.

We had a fantastic stay at ‘June Six Berlin’. There was nothing to fault. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful; breakfast has so much on offer; our room, on 4th floor, faced the railway and the noise didn’t bother us at all. My girlfriend is a light sleeper and she was fine with it… although it was mid-winter, so the windows were closed; location is perfect as it’s practically next door to Savignyplatz station, which makes the whole city accessible within minutes (Friedrichstraße in 11 minutes; Alexanderplatz in 15). As a tip, when you get off at Savignyplatz, pick the correct stairway closest to the hotel (you can see the hotel from the platform). Otherwise you’ll walk a couple of blocks, the long way around, as we once did. The only minor negative, which wasn’t a problem for us, was minimal clothing storage space: a short hanging rail and hangers, and a few shelves.

Amazing hotel!! So central, a 20 minute walk to the shopping district with the KaDeWe department store and literally next door to the train station (Savignyplatz) and close by to Charlottenburg station. It was in a safe area. The room was so spacious with a UK super king mattress that was so comfy! The pillows were also large and comfy! Spacious rooms, coffee machine and free water and crisps on arrival. Nice, big modern bathroom with a walk in shower and complimentary toiletries. The shower was very powerful and the water was always very hot. There was dressing gowns and a blanket too. The room is so cozy and has a smart TV to link up Netflix, Disney plus etc. Even though the train station is next door, this didn’t wake me or my partner and we couldn’t hear the trains whilst we were sleeping and we slept all the night through. The breakfast was nice, in a nice, modern room and there was plenty of choice (yogurt, granola, fruit salad, cereals, scrambled egg, boiled egg, pastries and bread) and orange juice, multi fruit juice, water and coffee and tea. The blueberry yogurt was very tasty and so were the pain au chocolat’s! The reception staff were friendly and there was complimentary water and sweets at reception. The gym was more of an active room, with a treadmill, cross trainer and cycling machine. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, so modern, comfy and cozy rooms and in a good, central location!! Would recommend 100%!!

This was a really modern hotel. In a good location and right by the train line. The room was spacious and clean, toiletries were a bit poor and kind of odd you only get one bathrobe for two people. Breakfast is okay, was exactly the same each day though. Bed was comfy and staff friendly there :)
