Communication fell way short This is my second review. While everything I said in my first review is true -- cute apartment, great location -- the communication this trip was terrible. I never got any response to my request for early check in nor did I get a response to my pleas for a code to get in the apartment. I had to call less than 2 hours before check in. Moreover, the owner's spouse opened the door to the apartment Saturday afternoon when I was napping. It was apparently an accident and she muttered an apology but the owner was incredibly defensive when I messaged about my shock and dismay about the violation of my privacy. I will not be returning, despite the fact that I have plans to do so in May and the fact that they very generously had given me a bottle of wine for booking a second time through VRBO.

A perfect place to stay in Berkeley I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable and attractive. The back yard is glorious. And the hosts are interesting and welcoming. I'd love to return next visit to Berkeley.
