"We arrived at 11 a.m. The owner's father informed us (in broken English mixed with Italian) that the room wasn't ready, but we could leave our luggage and return in an hour or two. We returned before 2 p.m., but no one was there. We called the number provided, and the angry owner complained that we hadn't informed her of our arrival date. She sent us an email, which we didn't respond to, so the room wasn't ready yet, and she would arrive in about an hour. So, we could expect to be in our room around 5 p.m. Tired after a journey that had lasted since 2 a.m., we went back into town. It seemed the owner had done us a favor by offering us a stay at her B&B... Never again, Ciccio. I don't recommend it."

There's also no luggage storage, even though it's listed as an available service. Furthermore, Trip.com doesn't show that this is an accommodation with shared bathrooms. Overall, the place is okay for one night – but I wouldn't want to spend my entire vacation there. Be aware: the accommodation is hard to find and not well signposted."

"Think of this place as a quirky bed and breakfast (available for an extra charge) surrounded by a University District and just outside the ancient walls of the upper city of Bergamo. Our room on the 1st floor featured two double beds pushed together in one room and one double bed in a second sleeping area. The bathroom was clean and nice. Out the back door is a picnic table and lawn that is great for a picnic. The walk to the top of the old city is steep but a great view. Just downhill from the front door is a great little coffee shop, a bakery, a cheese store and a wine store! Perfect to have so much so near, as well as a nice restaurant next to the University art museum. A special thanks to Nuala, whose fluency in English and kind spirit made everything better."

"There's no entry until the city tax is paid. So you're left standing on the street with your luggage, having to make the transfer before you can even get your key. The rooms are very small, the bedspreads are stained, and there's only one electrical outlet near the bed. There's no key for the shared shower. That's the summary of the first half hour.
