Hotel Kapllani

Beautiful hotel, very clean, beds really comfortable and breakfast best we had in Albania so far. Very nice people working there as well. Decor of the hotel is kept as very traditional, old beams, rocky walls. All in all- amazing place. Located conveniently within walking distance from the old town.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Klea was amazingly friendly and helpful. Was able to get me into a winery tour when other operators said no. The rooms are part of a building that also houses a restaurant. I was in a room right off the restaurant and was worried about noise, but that wasn’t an issue. Bed was comfy and they provided towels and body wash. Good hot water and water pressure. Lots of space to store toiletries. There is also a fridge in the room. Good location and the restaurant itself serves good food. Parking is just 1 minute away and is free. The WiFi worked so-so in the room and better in the restaurant. Breakfast was included and was usually an omelette, juice, cucumber/tomatoes, bread with butter/jam, and coffee. There was no hot tea and I had to run myself to the market and buy some for both days. The breakfast service was also very slow. If you are in a rush to leave early, then plan accordingly. The other downside is that the rooms don’t have AC. So you have to leave windows open at night to get air circulation. Well, this means all the street noises and cars and people yelling. There is also a bright light that shines in room. In the summer the sun rises before 6 am. So not the best nights of sleep.

We just finished dinner at the hotel; everything was delicious. The stuffed peppers were really excellent, well-seasoned and just the right size. The beer appetizer was very good, with cheese, olives, fries, and sausages. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. We also tried the oven-baked lamb and potatoes (very good also...my wife enjoyed the lamb and she doesn't usually eat lamb),nchicken soup (unusual flavor, but quite nice) and dessert. Our meal was really enjoyable and we'd definitely recommend it.

I recently stayed at Hotel Kapllani in Berat, and it was fantastic! The location is perfect, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious Albanian cuisine, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended for your visit to Berat!

Beautifully design inspired by the traditional berat homes. Very well situated with a very good restaurant and a few bars near by. Family owned business. Mega clean. Specious rooms. The bar car be loud on Saturday nights, but it’s still very cosy and nice and the owners are very attentive. Nice breakfast. Even nicer lunch and dinner. Totally worth the price
