Our room was not located in the hotel but in a separate building in the parking lot. It was more like a motel room, far from a 4 stars hotel as the Grand Hotel of Benodet claims it. The room was very spartiate, ground floor and smelling humidity. The Internet connection was poor. Just terrible for a 4 stars hotel.

The staff were all super helpful and friendly. We were in the annex so I can't speak for the other room areas but it is in need of renovation. It's looking tired and unloved.

We stayed in the hotel on a golfing break. Although the hotel is dated it was kept extremely clean and tidy. Our bedroom was spacious with a recently renovated bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of both hot and cold food. We had an early 7am departure and breakfast was made available for us, which was a really nice touch. All the staff we en-counted were very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. A special shout out for 'Cyril' who recommended and also booked excellent restaurants for our party. He also contacted golf clubs to confirm our tee-times. Our party of 4 would not hesitate in staying at the hotel in the future and would also strongly recommend it to friends and family. Amazing central location. The hotel rooms are in need of updating and decoration (apart from the bathroom which was lovely). Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was average. I would say the hotel is expensive for what it is (i.e costs more than a Premier Inn in the UK and not quite to that standard)

A very well located hotel near the port. Perfect location for a variety restaurants. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Maybe some of the room decor could benefit from refreshing. The breakfast was plentiful, with a vast choice to satisfy all tastes. The hotel parking is insufficient for all guests, but there is adequate free 24h parking nearby at the port .

Clean and comfortable. Great scrambled eggs for breakfast. Reading light over the bed was a huge plus. Access to an open window was refreshing. Quiet atmosphere and super location. Parking on site was easy to get to and felt very safe. Beach is close by.

3 star? More like 2 star. Very basic. The bedroom was okay, but needs a complete revamp. No kettle provided. The bathroom was clean, but very small. No restaurant only a breakfast setup. The choice was very good. Staff were friendly, although a guy, who I think was some sort of manager named Cyril thought that he was being funny, or clever when he offered my wife and I a free beer while we watched the France Euro game, as I had taken a French flag with me. then asked for our room number and charged us. Not very nice. The location is great and this is why we chose it, although the car park was not designed for the number of guests that were there. We only booked it as we usually use local camp sites and though it would make a nice change. The church next door was a little noisy, but it didn't bother us. Overall, we would never stay there again as it was not even as good as a Travelodge or Premier Inn.

We had booked rooms associated with the hotel but just around the corner and found them to be very poor, we changed to the main hotel at an extra cost. The staff are wonderful and the location is ok but away from the main restaurant areas of Benodet, unfortunately the hotel did not offer evening dining and the breakfast is poor

This hotel is very well sited, right by the beautiful estuary, and five minutes from the sea front..All staff are professional, helpful and friendly. It offers wheelchair accessible accommodation and reserved parking for disabled guests, which is enormously helpful.
