Hotel Mediterraneo

Just came back from celebrating my 30th with a large group of 11 (fam and friends) and none of us have had anything bad to say about this hotel. Rooms - comfy, big and spotless! shower & bath in one, Beds & pillows were really good. hair dryer & magnifying mirror in bathroom. Staff - welcoming & polite, even rocking up at 3am each night they were still happy to see us! bar staff were lovely too. Pool - couldn’t really comment cos it rained majority of our trip but it looked lovely and clean! We didn’t use indoor pool but was told you need to pre book for 50 mins sessions and have to wear swimming caps. All inclusive - your room key is your AI pass, no bands. You have picture taken on check in with who is in your room. You can’t get 2 drinks using the one card but you can take your own and any other persons card to get them a drink too (max 2 cards per serving) and entering restaurant they take your card and swipe it too. It was all very simple and efficient. AI drinks 10am - midnight. Drinks - couldn’t fault - all brilliant. Food - ignore any reviews that slate the food, food was beautiful. There was a little kids counter too which I thought was a. Brilliant idea so they can reach everything. Food was fresh, hot and good choices. Location - about 15-20 min walk from main strip - if you enjoy chilled vibes with good music at night that avoids the carnage of a busy strip and watch sports in the day then TROPICAL bar is perfect, 3 minute walk and open til 3am with tribute acts on every hour til about 1am. Beach about 10 minute walk, restaurants 5-10 mins, Lidl within 3 mins, McDonald’s next door, Benidorm plaza opposite hotel. Supermarkets teverywhere. Kids - we didn’t take children but there is a lovely park, gaming screen and pool tables.

Just returned from a weeks stay here and loved everything about the place. It's in a fantastic location directly across from benidorm palace and far enough away from the strips so no noise issues. Luckily we went outside uk school holidays so always plenty of loungers to choose from, even later in the day. This may be different though once the kids are off school? Food wise we all always found something to eat and there are many bars/restaurants very close by if you fancy a change from buffet. The corner bar a 5 min walk up the road does a cracking fry up! If hotel entertainment isn't your thing sinatras and tropical bar are about 5 mins away and they have several acts on each night. Staff are so friendly and the entertainment staff make the effort to remember your name and get you involved. If I did have to give one negative it would be lack of kettle in the room, I need a morning brew before I face the world but it's no big deal. We will definitely be booking this place again

A pleasant surprise, didn’t know what to expect with a first to Benidorm. Loved it and the hotel, staff, facilities etc all great, room fine. Food was very nice and a good selection, desert options were minimal but possibly because hotel was quiet/out of season. Would gladly go back.

Lovely place. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it. Nice, clean dining room and bar. Great entertainment. The bedroom was just fine with a brilliant view. Didn't try the pool but it looked really good. Would absolutely recommend. Excellent value for money.

It was a really good place to stay been to many places and this was the best entertainment for the kids. Every night different entertainment and we stayed for 2 weeks. The rooms were very clean and the cleaners were very nice and welcoming The only thing that wasn't very good was the food there wasn't many options for the kids/ picky eaters but there was a McDonald's over the road so that was good too.

My husband and I have just returned from this hotel and right from the moment we arrived we were very impressed, the check in was easy and very efficient, the rooms were spotless and kept this way throughout our stay and the beds were very comfy. The food was lovely with plenty of choice and the staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and hard working. The bar and staff were really nice and having read previous reviews in relation to the card system, we never found this a problem, the entertainment was excellent. In general we found all staff to be extremely pleasant but we make a special mention to the animation team ofJosh & Lupe who were absolutely outstanding and went above and beyond with both adults and kids. We had a lovely holiday despite the weather being a bit wet. Thank you Mediterraneo, we will be back in the future.
