Holiday World Village

Decent hotel, more like a resort. Facilities are stricted unless you are on all inclusive deal like use of spa. Also breakfast was decent but no real fruits. Mostly canned and juices were not real juices.

Ha superado nuestras expectativas!! Hemos estado 8 días con Todo Incluido y han sido unas vacaciones fantásticas. Al hotel no le falta de nada. Excelente limpieza, excelentes instalaciones, y personal muy amable. La comida también bastante bien. Lo único que creemos que puede mejorar es la oferta de actividades de animación al público español. Se vuelcan mucho con los extranjeros y la animación española queda en un segundo plano. Si mejorase esto ya sería increíble. En cuanto al servicio de atención al cliente de Trip, darles un 10, ya que cuando llegamos el hotel nos dijeron que nuestra hija no salía en la reserva (a pesar de que la reserva estaba bien hecha) y nos hicieron pagar casi 700€ adicionales por la niña y desde el momento uno Trip ha respondido muy bien, resolviendo el problema de forma rápida y con una atención inmejorable. En menos de una semana Trip ha corrido con la totalidad de los gastos por este inconveniente y me han devuelto el 100% del importe que el hotel me hizo pagar para poder hacer el check in de mi hija. Gracias Trip!! Seguir así!

We stayed here October 2024 with a large family party ranging from 3 to 83. After reading some reviews myself and my wife had our reservations about the booking as we normally stay highly rated hotels, but went with an open mind as part of a large family booking. You can easily find faults in this hotel if you want, it is a little dated and needs some TLC in some areas, but overall was very pleasant and clean. The food was repetitive in the buffet as to be expected in most hotel buffets, however every night we found something a little different which was tasty. All the bar areas have self service for beer and soft drinks to avoid large queues which is good. The local beer on tap is Cruzcampo which was good. The pool was large with lots of sun beds which was never an issue to get. I would highly recommend paying extra for a sea view as the views was some of the best we have ever had. The water park is part of the hotel and free to enter over the bridge, there is a fee for VIP in this area which is a rip off and we never saw anyone in this area during our stay. The normal bar at the water park is included in the all inclusive. We ate at the American one night which was the best meal there, all food was great. The shop on site is very cheap and well priced as well, a refreshing change to many hotels which rip you off. The beach is a 10min walk max just down the main road of the hotel. We ate at a Cuban / Caribbean place there which was good. Lots on site to do for kids, soft plays, kids clubs, mini discos, trampolines, climbing areas, parks, water parks etc. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay for all the family. The hotel in my opinion sits in the middle of a 3 and 4 star hotel rating. As stated previous it is an easy place to pick faults if you want to be picky, parts are dated, and lack a little love but we had a great stay and overall looked past a few minor issues. The pros outweighed the negatives a lot, so don't be put off by low rated reviews, we was pleasantly surprised.

we use only all inclussive and travel 2-3 times a year but this place is so far the worse.Very very cheap quality food.Runny and raw eggs,pink chicken,burned paella,no any kind of nuts in breakfast(don't come with allergy excuse please) 20 min queue for a omlette with canned mushroom yellow cheese and "ham". Lots of junk and cheap quality food. every day 20 min waiting for seating for lunch and dinner no matter what time you went, mid week change dinner time from 18.30 to 19.30(+20min waiting) ,my little one fall asleep next to table since then.So in a 7 day holiday you queue 7-8 hours.The soft play area was reserved for TUI guests exactly in rainy days,seems not all guest are treated equal!Pool bar was closed,the other 2 restaurant was closed.The pool area and playground is nice. Location: there is nothing near by, the nearest "supermarket" is 30min walking distance. We walk both direction next to the sea 4-5km ,there not much things to see.Just simple sandy beaches with dark sand,very very boring. Rooms are ok.The staff is amazing,very polite,helpful, they are definitely the best ,that why I give 2 star. Cocktails and drinks are ok.

We arrived back home on Wednesday after spending 7 nights at the holiday village. We are a family of 5, 3 boys aged 6 and twins who are 3. Overall we had a lovely time as a family, it always nice to be away from the usual day to day hustle and bustle in UK. The entertainment is probably one of the best I’ve seen, they all seemed to really care. Our boys loved them especially our eldest who must have had his face painted 3 times a day!! The hotel is little bit tired and I’m aware they are refurbing it soon, we could have done with a little bit more space in the rooms but we worked around it. Location is okay if you’re happy to stay at the hotel, we went down to the marina for one night but to be honest with 3 boys at the age they are, it’s easier to stay local. The main thing that lets it down in my opinion is the food, it’s definitely sub optimal including undercooked food. Even the a la carte isn’t great, it seems to be the same food as the buffet but cooked a little better! Pretty much lived off of beige food as this felt the safest way. I was ill with stomach cramps and diarrhoea on the last day but one and I still don’t feel 100 %. Having read through reviews, this appears to be a very common theme. If you improved the food considerably you would have a much better hotel in my opinion. Through speaking to other people at the hotel, it sounds as though there are better holiday world resorts to go to.

We have just come back from a holiday here with our 4 and 7 year olds. There were some good points, which I'll start with...The cleanliness can't be faulted. The facilities and our room were clean. The pool is surrounded in astro turf which was safe for the children to run around. The range of children's facilities is great, there's plenty for them to do. The hotel staff (reception, bar, housekeeping, food) were helpful and friendly. However... We were a bit disappointed with other things. The Tui staff just referred us to the app all the time if we had queries, which we found unhelpful. The whole complex is in need of a refurbishment as it's falling apart in places, lots of pool tiles missing, as well as tiles around the bars and cafes. In particular, the water park is an accident waiting to happen with so many trip hazards where tiles and drains are damaged. The indoor pool has mould coming out and growing down from the water shoots and the glass ceiling is cracked in several places, which made me feel very uneasy, swimming below it. The food in the main buffet is not too bad overall but avoid the Italian restaurant! We left our meals, walked out and went to the buffet and then cancelled our reservation for the American restaurant. I'm also pretty frustrated that they invited the children who had attended the football academy to a presentation and they never showed up, leaving lots of disappointed children. We won't be going back.
