Reynolds Mansion B&B

We needed a last minute, one-night stay and Jess (Innkeeper) was able to accommodate our needs. The mansion is beautiful and Jess was such a gracious hostess. Everything from showing us the different parts of the mansion as well as providing its historical overview. Every portion of the mansion from the entry, parlor, dining room, and guest room was extremely clean. Upon arrival we were greeted so kindly and were shown to our room. Complimentary refreshments and an afternoon dessert or light snack were available the afternoon of our arrival and were well received. Jess and her staff were helpful in providing local suggestions regarding local dining. We stayed specifically in the Woodlands Room on the third floor. It was a quaint room that had its own personal bathroom as well as a tub in the main bedroom area. What stood out to us were the high quality sheets, pillows, and bedding that was in our room. The sheets were so soft that if made for a very relaxing evening of sleep. The following morning a homemade breakfast was provided by Jess and her staff that was great. The atmosphere of the mansion combined with the staff's hospitality would make us book another stay when needed in the future. One suggestion would be to take an average to small vehicle if possible in order to comfortably park as the parking area on the mansion grounds is a bit tight. Of note we did park our SUV on the road in front of the mansion safely without incident.

Reynolds mansion is an amazing place to stay. It's so unique and well maintained. Everything was gorgeous, rooms, hall, library, dining room. Our innkeeper Jess was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved her. We want to come back. Just to stay longer to enjoy.

I can't say enough about Reynolds Mansion. One of the best that I have experienced. Start with the hostess, Jess. Warm and friendly, but extremely dedicated to making sure that every aspect of your visit is special. Our room was magnificent and spacious, with a splendid soaking tub, fireplace and beautiful appointments. Breakfast was a delicious offering of fresh fruit and pancakes with lemon curd. But the mansion itself is an awesome historic masterpiece with gorgeous woodwork and furnishings. I can't wait to return.

We recently enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Reynolds Mansion. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bellefonte/State College area. The Innkeeper, Jess, was very proactive in communication, ensuring everything was perfectly set up for our arrival---the cookies and blueberry pie that awaited us were marvelous! She also made great recommendations for dinner at local restaurants. The room, the Belle Fonte, exceeded our expectations. We love staying in Victorian mansions, and the architecture, restored craftmanship, and evident care really sets Reynolds Mansion apart from others. Breakfast was exceptional and tasty. We really enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests over coffee, too. All in all, a great visit to the Reynolds Mansion. We hope to return soon.

Jess and her mother were fantastic and the facilities were immaculate! We stayed in the Blue White room. All of the little details that I would have never thought of were taken care of. They gave us a tour when we arrived and some great history. If you have an occasion, do the extra with champagne & strawberries, and the breakfast in bed. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Jess and her crew have a great deal of pride in their establishment, and it’s easy to see! We had a great stay and will do it again!

I stayed at the Reynolds Mansion Bed and Breakfast in January 2025. It is a lovely Inn and I felt welcome upon entering the Inn. It is tastefully appointed in the Victorian manner and each room is quite beautiful. I stayed in the Cherub room and was thrilled to find the room in immaculate condition. This includes the bathroom which had a walk in shower and claw foot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed the luxury of Turkish towels and washcloths. I added the massage (extra cost) which was sublime! The breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice as well as a homemade breakfast quiche. I give the Reynolds Mansion Bed and Breakfast my highest recommendation.
