THIS PLACE IS A DUMP, MANAGED BY DISHONEST PEOPLE. DON'T STAY THERE. This booking was a disaster from beginning to end. I received a LAST MINUTE notification a couple of hours before my arrival that THE LOCATION HAD BEEN CHANGED TO AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PART OF THE CITY. I was given totally INADEQUATE INFORMATION about the new destination and arrival details, which was really challenging as I arrived tired and late at night. The entire apartment building given SMELLED OF DAMP; it was COLD (it only has economy 7 heating); with an UNFLUSHED TOILET; and the WIFI WASN'T WORKING. Both the smell and the presentation reminded me of every BAD STUDENT HOUSE that I've ever visited. As it was late, I had to stay the night, but I checked out the next morning in order to find somewhere habitable for the second night of my stay. Little did I know that things were only to get worse: I received a message from the owner the next day with his "sincere apologies" and with a lavish offer of moving me to their best facility and GUARANTEEING ME A FULL REFUND. I declined the offer of an alternative place to stay (I was sufficiently scarred by the one night at a location under their management), but was grateful for the refund offer. I duly provided the requested details for the refund. When the refund was not immediately immediately forthcoming, I followed up, and was told it would just a few more days. AFTER A FURTHER TWO WEEKS, STILL NO REFUND, so I phoned the manager and was told that the refund would be processed immediately and he apologised for the delay. AFTER A FURTHER TWO WEEKS, STILL NO REFUND, so I made a further follow-up by text and phonecall and received no reply to either, and eventually FURTHER EXCUSES AND NO REFUND. I believe that the REFUND OFFER WAS A RUSE to stop me posting a negative review and that it was a dishonest and misleading promise. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP, MANAGED BY DISHONEST PEOPLE. DON'T STAY THERE.
