Premier Inn Belfast City Cathedral Quarter

The bedroom was modern and clean, The bed was very comfortable. The hotel location is good, in the city centre and close to night life. The public common areas were not clean, corridors, lifts etc, it looked like they had not been cleaned in a while and they were not cleaned for the 2 nights / 3 days that we stayed, which I was surprised at because normally Premier Inns are very clean. Breakfast was average at best, the unclean breakfast and coffee area was off putting. Service was average for a Premier Inn with staff been neither friendly or rude.

I stayed here while attending James Blunt concert at Odyssey. The hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. A warm welcome awaited me and I was able to have my room even though I arrived early. The room was well equipped, immaculately clean and such a comfortable bed!! Check out is until 12 which is just fantastic. This gave time for breakfast and relaxing before leaving. I had continental breakfast where there was a huge choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereal and toast. I would certainly come back here again.

We booked a room for one night as we were going to a concert and wanted a central location with a comfortable bed ,which we normally get with premier inn. However, when we arrived to check in we were asked if we realised we had booked an accessible room. I explained that we hadn't and that i didnt want an accessible room,but the receptionist said that that's what we were getting as the hotel was full,and that the rooms were more spacious. I have nothing against these rooms, but I didn't book this type of room and had I knew this was the only type of room available, I wouldn't have booked the room. The room itself felt like a hospital room with no character. The bed was extremely low due to allowing wheelchair access,but I am 6ft2 tall and I found it difficult to get out of bed. The bathroom again was designed for wheelchair users which ment that the shower had a wall mounted seat that ment we weren't able to stand under the shower due to the seat being in the way also the shower head was very low meaning that I would have had to stoop to get under the shower head. This left the shower unusable for us. The bed itself was very comfortable and the room was clean but I was given a room that I wouldn't have booked had I known.

Great location for city centre and a 15 minute walk to the Titanic museum. Food is excellent in particular the breakfast. Prior to arrival I was asked to pre book the evening meal and alsoI requested two rooms at least on the same floor as we were travelling as a family. Complete waste of time, no record of the e-mail despite me showing it to the young lady at reception. Sharing a room with my oldest teenage boy so we aren't too fussy about most things but the room wasn't the cleanest, dirt on windows, hairs in the sink on arrival, leaking shower. We never spent a great deal of time in the room but for others this would definitely be an issue. As others have said, if it's a sleep you are after then look elsewhere, it's very noisy, we were at the back of the hotel (room 119) and I heard every hour of the night. Overall it's the very first time I've been disappointed by Premier Inn however the city of Belfast is a wonderful wee place. We will be back but not to stay here.

Visiting Belfast to see friends so we booked Premier inn again as we had a great experience in London Premier inn HUB and Paddington branch. Unfortunately this Premier inn branch did not go well for our experience as we were treated with racism unfairness. We paid for the breakfast to enjoy the morning experience and the server with a clean shave head with moustache gave us a terrible treatment as we were first in the queue and paid then suddenly the 1 group of 4 people behind us normal caucasians who got given the table first before us even we were at first queue and paid too. My partner used to run few Japanese restaurants and absolutely knows how the queuing works in the restaurant industry. The table was given to them can accommodate up to 4 people which is the same for ours so there is no difference putting us equally in there first. I would've understood if the early vacant table was for 2 people or greater than 4 people as we were 3 of us so we will need to wait for a table up to 4. The fact the table was given to the 4 people behind us in the queue are no difference to our table given after 10mins further wait. I can see that the server had a preferences who should be served first despite the queuing system. although our bad experience with the breakfast section, we also had a great experience from the front receptionist from first arrival to checking out as she was very lovely and friendly. The fact is that because of our different race unfortunately the gentlemen who was serving us in the breakfast was not ready and accepting the diversity. It’s really such a shame as we have never experience this from any Premier Inn hotels in London. Eating that breakfast was awful as our mind was not at ease because the server put us in that difficult situation. I would like to let other’s know that if you are visiting this hotel in the breakfast section and you are from a different race please be aware that experience.

Location great. Room is clean. I just don't understand being refused food when staying at the hotel told we needed to book. I think guests should be allowed to eat in the restaurant. I've been to other premiere inns and could walk in and eat with out booking.
