Always wanted to experience Aman Beijing, finally booked a one night stay. Upon arrival, Jason at the front desk was very helpful and patient in explaining various items and was pleasantly surprised to hear my room had been upgraded. The property and the room are just like the photos but actually physically being there and seeing all the details of the architecture, courtyards, and surrounding nature and birds is like being transported back in time to another era. In this sense, Aman Beijing accomplishes what no other modern five-star luxury hotel can come close to achieving - making one feel a certain emotion or feeling that they've never felt, or perhaps only experienced in their dreams. Everything from the furniture to the layout to the art to the lighting is so tastefully executed and done, the courtyards and grounds are kept immaculate (saw people sweeping away leaves), they even have the older style bicycles available to ride there. Ate at the Chinese restaurant twice, the environment and lighting is so nice, their dumplings are excellent and also really enjoyed some of their soups and vegetable offerings, very delicious. Unfortunately, I was quite sick that day and also had injured my knee the day before. One of the staff at the front desk noticed my limp and asked if I was okay. I told her I was fine, just a little sprain. She went to the back and brought out a traditional Chinese 'Ban Lan Gen' pain relief spray can which she kindly gave to me, saying I could use it and take it with me, very touched. I think it is moments like these which one will remember many years later. All the staff I met there were very kind, during lunch was fortunate enough to meet Ivy, the F&B Manager who was very warm and hospitable. Then during dinner, after I saw down, a restaurant staff asked if I would like an ice pack for my leg, I asked her if she thought it would help and she replied, ”Yes.” They proceeded to bring out a huge ice pack that was able to wrap around my entire knee, providing instant relief. Finally, when it was time to leave, the very lovely and kind Lucy asked if I would like more ice packs to be sent to my room so I could ice my knee before retiring for the night. Even though I was not feeling well, it was an unforgettable experience due in large part to the kind and wonderful staff there.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly easy to access all the key tourist spots. There are also tons of food options nearby, which made exploring the local cuisine a breeze. The hotel itself provides free breakfast throughout the stay, which was a lovely touch and super convenient. But what really stood out were the staff members. They were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to address my questions immediately, making me feel truly taken care of. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Record truthfully without comment: 1. It is a garden-style hotel with a large interior and beautiful environment. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the gate to the accommodation building. 2. There is a sentry on duty at the gate. Guests need to enter with their ID cards. I don’t know why I couldn’t swipe it (there will be an answer in the third point). The sentry checked it repeatedly and asked a lot of questions. Finally, he looked at the Ctrip booking record on my phone and reluctantly let me in. 3. Arrived at the front desk. After checking, the staff said that they did not see the record of my booking through Ctrip, and then asked me a lot of questions. Finally, I was asked to rest for a while and asked the leader whether I could check in. 4. Finally checked in, and I also knew that the front desk had entered my ID card information, and I had to bring my ID card when entering and leaving the gate of the compound. 5. After dinner that day, I successfully swiped my ID card + facial recognition to return to the hotel. … 6. After dinner the next day, I returned to the hotel and failed to swipe my ID card. I was interrogated by the sentry again and asked to contact the front desk. I told the front desk that I felt that the front desk should be off work according to my experience of staying in the hotel the day before. The sentry hesitated for a moment and helped me call the duty phone, but no one answered. So I went back to step 2, showed the Ctrip booking information on my phone, and was allowed to pass. Throughout the whole process... the sentry, the front desk, and the guest were all very professional and cooperated with each other, without any displeasure!

The hotel is very warm, the free drinks are very nice, two large bottles of Baishuishan, and three kinds of carbonated drinks. The items in the room are relatively complete, and the front desk also gave me an upgraded room when I checked in.

We were given a room with cigarette smell and got changed instantly. Shower room and toilet are separated and spacious. Clean and comfortable beds, friendly staff and efficient service. MTR and bus stops are nearby and it was easy to get a taxi too. Will stay again next time.

The location of the hotel is very close to the subway entrance and bus station, and the transportation is very convenient. The room is quite new, with complete facilities, no smell, and good intelligence. The front desk staff were very helpful. They also gave me a free room upgrade. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!

The room is very clean, neat and tidy, the toilet is electric, the TV projection is great, the room is controlled by Tmall Genie, parking is free, and it is close to Linheli subway station. It would be better if there is an elevator

Ambience and Cleanliness: The hotel is new and impeccably clean, which is always a big plus. The decor is modern and cosy, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. The architectural designs are impressive! The staff, even the cleaning ladies, especially Dominic at the front desk, were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warm demeanour made me feel valued as a guest. The breakfast offered a wide range of options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. It was a great way to start the day, ensuring there was something delicious for everyone. One of my favourite amenities was the free-flowing coffee and the massage chair—perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The spacious lounge and garden were also lovely spots to unwind. I appreciated having a real no-smoking room, ensuring a clean and fresh environment. The room itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The room has an AI assistant, her name is Xiaodu xiaodu, my family loved her! You tell her to draw the curtain and switch on the light or wake you up at certain time, she does it promptly! 🤣 While the hotel is a bit far from shopping malls, it’s conveniently close to the Old Summer Palace and just a short walk from a beautiful park. This makes it ideal for those who enjoy cultural sites and natural beauty. The laundry area, available for a minimal charge, was a convenient perk for longer stays or families travelling with children. This Holiday Inn Express is perfect for a staycation or families with kids. The combination of comfortable accommodations, family-friendly amenities, and a peaceful location near parks makes it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and rejuvenating stay.

Booked this hotel for my parents, but expected more for this price, wasn’t very clean and the room smelled like smoke… location and service were good though and the lobby looks nice
