This place offers a strong farmstay vibe among the surrounding accommodations. The owner is a grandma who's incredibly kind and even treated us to watermelon. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with everything we needed. Right in front of the homestay is a small river and tall mountains, with fresh air and beautiful scenery.
Grandma says she'd love to welcome some foreign guests. If you're reading this, come and stay with us to experience her kindness!

The service was excellent, the room was very clean and the owners were so kind to us! We missed the bus from Gubeikou Station and the boss picked us up from nearby. The wife’s cooking was amazing, she provides a menu and you can eat whatever you like. They can drive you to The Great Wall and other nearby scenic spots. She recommended the Panlongshan area for hiking/seeing the wall and it was great, much less crowded and better value than other touristy areas. The whole area is very peaceful. 10/10

The best accommodations during my stay in China. Not just the facilities but the hosts being extra welcoming and helpful during my stay.
They brought me to see the scenic area around the gubei water town where the simatai lights on the great wall are lit up. Additionally, it's not too far from the great wall entrance at Jinshanling and there is a bus transfer to the Gubeikou train station just nearby.
Overall I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a wonderful time staying in Simatai.

This hotel is truly a home away from home! The owners are some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. We have limited time so sadly we could only stay for 2 nights but we would have loved to extend it. The attention they gave throughout the entire trip is truly incredible. The owner was like enough to take us to various tourist destinations. The food is incredible as well! It’s been the best food we’ve had in China. They treat you like family. We will never forget our stay here. Truly a 1000 star accommodation.

We enjoyed the place very much and decided to extend another night at this homestay. 👍👍👍 my kids played cards with them & they had so much fun! The boss also send us to panlongshan great wall & pick up up after that. Thank you so much 🙏 we really appreciate you taking such good care of us! Amazing stay! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the homestay is super clean too!

人們常説不到長城非好漢，我們也爬上了長城，體驗了做好漢的滋味。長城真是太壯觀了，我們玩的又餓又累，來到了閨蜜推薦的保利民宿，門口有充足停車位，有充電樁，旁邊有去景區的公交車，周邊有金山嶺長城等好多景區，民宿房間寬敞明亮，床品一客一換乾淨整潔，老闆做的飯菜特別好吃，孩子大人都非常滿意，夜裡有點涼，水暖床睡着賊舒服，一天的疲勞一掃而光，下次來還會住在這裏
