The Hotel provides good service (check in, check out, self-service laundery, and luggage deposit (can also be used over night, when doing a two day great wall trip). The rooms are very clean and match the pictures on the website. European users should be aware that they might need an AC-outlet adapter, but sufficient USB-A and USB-C sockets are provided in the room. Basic English communication skills are present. Further questions were handled well by the use of translator apps Please be aware that the hotel is close to the security checkpoints of the forbidden city and the Tian'anmen square. You should always carry passports or ID cards with you to pass the checkpoints. A short walk (~15 minutes) is required from the subway stations. Alternatively, some Hello ride bikes are available in front of or near the hotel.

Walking through the Hutong to the subway was one of the highlights. Very comfortable room, and excellent staff. They even washed and dried our clothes while we were sightseeing, no extra charge?! We enjoyed staying a bit off the main streets as it was quiet and restful after the crowds. Great value!

Great hotel with a convenient location and wonderful staff! My stay at this hotel left only positive impressions! First of all, the hotel is close to the center of Beijing, making it an ideal choice for those who want to be within walking distance of all the major attractions in the city. The hotel staff was very friendly. They didn't speak English but they had a translator app. Our daughter speaks Chinese so we didn't have any problems. The hotel staff was very helpful showing us the amenities like laundry. There was a big rainstorm while we were there. One of the people raced out to our taxi and gave us an umbrella so we didn't get wet. We were glad to find that the hotel had a restaurant that we could eat in so we didn't have to leave during the storm. The restaurant was very good.
