The caravan park was absolutly wonderful. Plenty of room for kids to ride around. Walking distance to town but not too close. Very quiet at night. Ammenities were clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly. the tres in autumn were so beautiful and the colours were amazing.

Beautiful caravan park within walking distance of centre of Beechworth. Lovely walk around the lake. Amenities lovely and clean and the staff very friendly. We were guided to our site and guided in by a very capable man who had us reversed in without any problems!! We would highly recommend Lake Sambell we will definitely be back .

Probably the best park we have been to. The park it,s self was well looked after with very efficient staff who were caring andhelpfull. The **** in the lake was a pain in the rear and the fishing was near nonexistent because of it. But, the position of the park, the outlook and great people running it,made up for the Weedy lake. If you have never been, (like us) then go. Beechworth is a lovely place.

My husband and I enjoyed 5 nights at Beechworth, a beautiful town with nice cafes and lovely old buildings. An easy just over a kilometre walk into town. We enjoyed the walk around the lake. One side is fairly steep and rough on a narrow path and the other flat on a well formed path so you can choose to go round or to the dam wall and back on flat ground. We drove to Bright one day and walked along the river there. Lake Sambell caravan park has plenty of shade, is very clean and is run by a team of friendly people.

Checked in on a powered site. Staff considered our needs very well and placed us where we had plenty of space to pop out our camper 360 awning. Amenities were exceptionally clean. Lovely walking trail around the lake to kick start your day. Close to town centre.

The park is set in beautiful surroundings. The amenities are lovely and clean. Staff are very welcoming and great help on arrival with parking our caravan which reduces stress levels greatly. Highly recommended caravan park. We will be back for sure.

Beechworth is like a magnet that draws you back year after year. The caravan park is well maintained and the office staff are so friendly and helpful. The cabins are well equipped with everything you will need for your stay- heaps of extra pillows and blankets. The walk around the lake is beautiful ,as is the walk into town- strolling past cute cottages and glorious autumn coloured trees. So much to do and see in the area- would take you weeks to do it all. A cyclists heaven with so many trails to choose from. Plenty of wineries and breweries to visit nearby plus the yummy bakery and pie shop.

Excellent tourist park and location. We had a lovely spacious site for our two week stay. Staff were so so helpful, a constant presence in the park. Spotless amenities and facilities. Great walks and cycling on the trails commencing from the park.
