Another fabulous stay at the Hotel Carlton. I simply cannot fault this hotel, all the staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The lovely quiet pool area is great for a relaxing hour or two after a day spent sightseeing and the carafe of Rose served at the pool bar is excellent value at only €10! We had a few of those ..... There is a jazz evening every Thursday with complimentary champagne and canapes for guests and an excellent breakfast on the shaded terrace. I have been visiting this hotel for the past 20 years and it just gets better. Many of the guests seem to have been returning for years and it's easy to understand why. The perfect boutique hotel in the perfect location. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely stay - I will be back.

We stayed at the Carlton to celebrate my mother's special birthday. The team were lovely, always offering to go above and beyond with a smile. My mother was really touched to discover the beautiful fruit platter in her room. Also a big shout out to Marty who so helpfully parked the car for us after we arrived very late in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay.

This is a great hotel, with amazingly friendly and attentive service, and very pleasant location in the heart of Beaulieu sur mer. Breakfast is a great value. You can walk to numerous fantastic restaurants and other attractions. It is four star only, but for the price, you get an amazing value. Highly recommended, and we will be back!!

Beautiful hotel with art deco flair. Staff professional and friendly. Big bright rooms with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, spotless. Good breakfast nice bar and lounge. Great location, a block from the beach and short walk to the port with many restaurants. Looking forward to returning.

The Hotel Carlton (and Beaulieu-sur-Mer) was a fantastic place to make base for a week on the Côte d’Azur. First of all, the location is convenient. It is a quick (25ish minute, €25-30) Uber from the airport. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station, making most of the sights of the Riviera very accessible and cheap. There are lots of decent to very good restaurants and easy walk away as well. The beach was also good for sunbathing and a quick swim, only about two minutes away on foot. The front desk gave a warm welcome and they were exceptionally kind and helpful before and during the stay. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and kindness. Despite being a smaller hotel outside of the larger towns, I would recommend it to anyone regardless of their level of French or familiarity with the area. The entire facility gives a very upscale air, especially in comparison to other four star hotels I looked at in nearby towns and stayed at in Nice. Not to mention, the price is incredibly fair for the quality. Drinks at the bar on some nights were very nice, as the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast was delicious each morning and normally very well enjoyed on the terrace. The pool was also very comfortable and peaceful with new loungers and it was slightly heated as a huge bonus. The rooms themselves are very clean, very comfortable, and, again, have a very upscale feel. The air conditioning works well, a necessity for us from the southern US, and the beds were also very comfortable. The window in my room featured an electric, rolling metal blackout apparatus that made sleeping in one day almost too easy! Room service was not obtrusive and did a fantastic job every day. Overall, this small boutique hotel gave a truly boutique experience, sophisticated and relaxing. I would and will recommend this hotel and Beaulieu to anyone visiting the area, even as a suitable alternative to basing your trip out of Nice, where we did spend a fair amount of time. The pace and vibes were exactly what I wanted out of my vacation.
