We visited the area hoping to find our future holiday home. My Husband thought that we deserved to stay somewhere beautiful, and wow! he chose the most prettiest, beautiful place I have ever stayed. I was in absolute awe when we pulled up to this beautiful location and this beautiful B&B. The hosts were there to greet us and were extremely attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single room was immaculate, spotlessly clean and from the bedding to the window dressings were absolutely fabulous. The attention to detail was meticulous. The shower room was amazing, beautiful hot shower, heated towel rails and spotlessly clean. Bedding and bed were so comfortable I could have stayed longer,, the best night sleep I have had in a long time. Rooms had a kettle fridge .. refreshments provided and lovely nibbles too. An iron ..ironing board and hairdryer.. Amazing! I will definitely be staying again.. in fact I cant wait to go back I enjoyed that much! Thank you both for a fab stay! Food & drinksBreakfast was amazing with a very good choice and plentiful. Hosts were very good making sure you had everything you needed. Visited in May

We stayed in the Presbytere on 13th July, before France’s national day on 14th. I was looking for somewhere that epitomised the beauty and calm of rural Normandie combined with a sense of history and permanence associated with an old Manor House. In the Presbytere we found this and so much more. The house is impeccably and sympathetically restored. It is decorated with elegance and taste with fabulous fabrics and locally sourced antiques which added to the essential charm of the house. The bedrooms were beautiful, comfortable, with all the modern conveniences one would hope to find. The breakfast was great in the French style (though I also had a perfectly boiled egg…) and it took us through the day to dinner. The French word ‘gentil’ describes hosts Veronique and Richard They were very welcoming and friendly, without being intrusive, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. In all a perfect combination, a truly lovely experience. If only all bed and breakfast were like this!

What a find! In the heart of the Normandy countryside yet only minutes from the main Vire - Mortain road, Le Presbytere is a gem. Great hosts, impeccable rooms furnished with exquisite taste, a superb breakfast and ample easy parking. What’s not to like?

Fantastic find. I was recommended the Presbytere by friends and what a fantastic place to stay. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, spacious bedroom, bathroom and excellent shower. The hosts, Veronique and Richard, were extremely helpful and welcoming and made my stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was continental, offering everything one could ask for. A great find and I look forward to staying there again in April.

Le Presbytere is amazing! It is easily the best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in. The bedroom was spacious, the bed comfortable and the breakfast scrumptious. Please don’t miss the chance to stay. You will not be disappointed. We recommend it without reservation.
