Hotel Riu Naiboa

Highly recommended! Amazing, joyful and helpful staff. Will be back!

The hotel is not far from the beach, which is nice but hectic. The interiors are dated, but the food is good. There were many activities for kids and adults, again all of them were crowded, The beach is really nice, with white sand beaches. Nice greenery with palm trees and lawns. To get to the beach, you have to get out of the gate, and it takes 5-10 min to get there along the street with small shops.

We arrived the 3rd of july and stayed for a 10 day holiday. Reading the reviews i was worried for this holiday however this was definitely a holiday to remember! when we arrived our bags where taken up to the room for us, our room had a king sized bed, fridge, optics, and a swan made from towels covered in flower petals. the staff where absolutely amazing. As a family coming from london we where worried because of people complaining about how they treated the english people. but i have no idea what they’re talking about, we couldn’t fault the staff at all. all the staff where extremely friendly and ran to give us everything they need, especially brandy. the pool was 24hr on all days expect 2 of the days, the pool was clean and well looked after. tipping is highly appreciated. the bar close to the entertainment was always busy, but due to tipping someone would always cater to us immediately. the buffet was repetitive some days but the food was good and catered to everyone. the drinks in our fridges where refilled everyday and if asked they will give you extra drinks. we left a dollar tip out everyday for the cleaner, when we would return to our room it would be spotless with an animal made from towels. i highly recommend this hotel, it is a little outdated but they’re revamping it soon so nothing to complain about. amazing holiday!

I cannot fault this hotel. Friendly staff, clean, and overall a happy experience. For everyone saying not friendly, I have no experience in that. A dollar goes a long way, and the staff cannot do enough for you. Especially Brandy. He was the waiter in the restaurant and would go above And beyond for us every day. Food was plentiful and always found something to eat. Salad bar was immense and the warm doughnuts at breakfast, were on pa with krispy creme. (I still think about them now) Plenty of selection and choice. My eldest daughter has asd and extremely fussy, however had no problem with finding something Every day. The snack bar served salad, nachos, pasta, pizza, burgers and occasionally lasagne. All very nice, with an absolute beautiful setting on the beach. The wifi was great, and loved the extra of it being at the snack bar also, so was able to face time whilst I was on the beach Try every cocktail, they are all amazing! The coffee is stunning and so is the presidente beer. I loved the added perk of having a fridge in our room, which was constantly re stocked with soft drinks and beer. Lovely touch. The cleaners would always make towel animals, and leave beautiful flowers for us to find. The pool was lovely and warm, and always had music playing. A lot of Spanish, however we're in a Spanish speaking country, so didn't mind. We had karaoke one night which was funny, and really enjoyable. The entertainment team work hard! It's so hot day and night and yet they still dance with such conviction. The rooms were fine Yes they are dated, but they are clean. The shower in our room was one of the best I've used, and the king size bed extremely comfortable. We were on floor 1 room 189. Our balcony wás tiny, but again didn't faze us. We done 4 excursions whilst staying at the hotel, and found all the staff equally brilliant and efficient. I would say this hotel is a good 3 star. Friendly, inviting and worth the money. If you have high expectations of a 4 star I imagine you could be disappointed. However go with an open mind and try not to read the negatives. We had an amazing time and would be happy to holiday here again. We were a party of 6. All our rooms were next door to each other which was a lovely touch. Thanks RIU naiboa. You have been amazing.(take mosquito spray and anti itch cream, it's not the hotels fault however everywhere is rife with them my daughter had over 100 bites on her calves) As a side note, no id was ever asked for. We had teens with us who enjoyed the night club and bar. The staff made my review the 5 * as they were the best.
