Danke Lodge

Rooms are very clean and big. Same for the bathroom. Nice breakfast in the morning served at your door. Hotel is 5min by car from town but they offer free transfer to go and back anytime. Free pick up to go to airport also. Staff is really friendly.

Danke Lodge is a fantastic budget option for visitors to Labuan Bajo. Located a few kilometers away from the bustling port area, it offers a little peace and quiet. When you do need to get to the port, hotel staff will drive you. They'll also pick you up when you need to get back to the hotel. They do this at the drop of a hat. If you do want to walk, it is about 30 minutes to the port. The rooms are big, well-maintained and very clean. They are somewhat basic, so don't expect a kettle or a fridge. You can ask for a thermos of hot water if you need one. About one block from the hotel is a large traditional outdoor market where you can find fruit, vegetables and small restaurants. A block in the other direction is a large modern convenience store. Visitors might even enjoy a ten minute walk a bit further outside of town to see how regular people in Labuan Bajo live.
