Nice hotel for the price,clean, service also good ..next maybe can stay again when come batam for holidays

Hotel location is perfect, just about 5 minutes walk from the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. I didn't get an Extra Bed as indicated in my room reservation. The reception said all extra beds were taken up. It seems the extra bed were granted to Guests on first-check-in-first-served basis. I ended up paid an additional room. Rooms are not sound proo. Noise from construction works across the road that continue working through the night and music from the Night Market disturbed our sleep. Breakfast was good but wish to have more varieties.

I had a great time with my family at Batam Marriott to celebrate my birthday. The service was amazing and the staffs were thoughtful. We like the location as it is just next to the ferry jetty. Many restaurants near the hotel too. The gym and swimming pool are clean and new. Thank you for the special birthday cake!

Was apprehensive after reading the reviews. But this hotel had many pleasant surprises! Inwas greeted with a massive lobby. Space is what this hotel has. Corridors are wide. Rooms are larger than normal. I needed a quiet room to rest after a long week at work. I was allocated a room at the rear of the hotel, come 9pm the karaoke opposite the street started. Oops! But Yuli, who had a great smile from front desk reception was at hand to assist me select another room which was more pleasant and had a garden view. She called me by name the following day as as well! (Maybe coz I forgot my passport, double oops 😅) Breakfast selection was good. Trays were full to feed the many guests. There was a cooking station to literally a fire wok to whip up hot and spicy local noodles in the morning. Nice 😀demonstration. But the chefs can’t make poached eggs which is my travel comfort food. Tried over two days 😔. I selected this hotel because it is one of the few hotels that had a bathtub at a reasonable price. I like to soak myself to relax and unwind. COMPLIMENTARY shuttle to/fro Harbour Bay Terminal (5min). Only found out on check-out. Ms Yuli was again on duty to assist me. And she gracefully walked me to the car. The hotel driver was also full of smiles and he was conversational and made my journey very enjoyable. What great hospitality. In summary, this old dame of a hotel (changed name 4 times) still has grand old charm and is well-maintained for a pleasant stay. Hit a like if you found this useful ☺️

It is ok for solo short trip. All are near by. Budget hotel so don't expect much.

Bed ok, room bright and easy to sleep in, compared to similar priced hotel in the area..water pressure is OK. Shower also good..wifi also good and stable... Cheapest in the area.. Maybe because no lift... If you have no problem climbing stairs, it should be OK.. Location quite strategic.. Not too far from the harbour bay ferry terminal.. Same block with morning glory coffee shop, money exchange and minimart..

Strategically ideal for solo traveling who seek the thrill night of Batam night clubs and pubs. Hotel staffs are friendly. I would gives a 3.1/2 rating
