Hello. I enjoyed my stay in Baton Rouge. The staff members were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great as well! The hotel is also in a very convenient location. My only complaint is the furniture, carpet, decor and lamps appear to be very outdated. Televisions were much smaller than they should’ve been. Property needs upgrades.

Pleasant and Relaxing. The desk clerk at in take and check out were friendly and helpful. My sister and i had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. Your complimentary breakfast was very good. Many choices and the staff was awsome. The lady in Charge of of the breakfast staff made our experience a pleasure. Her name is Barbra and on my next trip in July, i will make sure to stay at the Baton Rouge Embassy Suits.

This was probably a really really nice place 20 years ago. Rooms are dated, poor drywall repair through out. Most of the in house amenities are unavailable. Went down to the bar at 830 pm on a saturday night to have a drink, only to find it closed. Homeless people hanging out in the parking lot. Apparently there is no service elevator for staff and housekeeping has no problems holding up all 4 elevators. Its way faster to just take the stairs. Breakfast was a joke, cold bacon and eggs. Front desk attendant was rude. Overall id rate this place a 4 out of 10.

This place needs some remodeling For the amount i paid for a weekend it was very disappointed, room was smelly , mold , elevator was hot super slow smelly ugh . But the kids enjoyed the pool . Dining area is nice though. I wouldn't book this again untill maybe remodeling.

Maggie The staffers at hotel very nice and friendly. Only problems with being too cold at night because air conditioner on automatic and weather chill. We were told turn the system off but still too cold. The hotel needed a remolding the carpet in room needed cleaning or new carpet. There were lots of spots on carpet. Spot that housekeeping couldn’t get out by vacuum.

Couch bed was very very nasty my son had to sleep with me. Carpet was nasty. Called for some Extra blankets for pull out bed before we seen it was nasty it took them a lil over a hour to bring it. I went to front desk to get it myself and they said that housekeeping was going to bring it. Some kids was knocking in door and running from the door. Just a bad stay

The rooms are not clean! Stains on sofas, and bathroom floor. First, our room on level 2 was in-front of the ice machine and the whole floor smelled so bad. We asked to change room and staff kindly helped us move to level 6 which was a lot more clean. The breakfast is good, the omelettes were yummy and the staff are nice too! Bedrooms have separating doors that works well if you have pet and scared of them jumping out of the room! Indoor pool looked nice, we didn’t have time to use though.

Very disappointed with hotel policy and facility. My first issue started with my own mistake. When booking a series of hotels in *******, I failed to update the date when booking my stay at Embassy. I recognize this was my error and it was non-cancellable however given I saw the error within 2 minutes and immediately raised with Embassy and *******. Being allowed to just immediately move the booking to the next night doesn't seem unreasonable but Embassy refused to allow me to change the booking to the next night. Thus I payed for one unused night. The 2nd issue was the inability to open windows. I made repeated attempts to confirm this with the hotel but could never "get through" on the phone lines. As the pictures clearly show balcony railings, I assume that there must be doors onto balconies. When we checked in we found the balconies were just false fronts and no actual balcony and the rooms were completely sealed. Clearly the featured pictures were misleading. We chose to go elsewhere but were still charged for the room resulting in now paying for 2 nights of unused rooms. I would have hoped Embassy would have been more understanding a/o flexible. Alas, I will simply never stay at this chain ever again.
