很完美的酒店，cavendish 家族的產業並經營。餐食很好，2020年的米其林，食材是自己的供應渠道。早餐豐盛。步行30分鐘可達Chatsworth House，這個季節，如果你不怕風吹的話。一路滿眼草坪和🐑，如果你看過“傲慢與偏見”，這裡是必須來的地方。

We stopped by on the off-chance. having called to book but had to leave an answer phone message, for afternoon tea. Lovely setting, efficient service and a good selection for afternoon tea - including my vegetarian choices. Will certainly go again, and we recommend.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Cavendish hotel. The food was delicious - sandwiches, scones and shortbread, the dinner tasting menu and breakfast were all equally excellent. The staff at the hotel were also incredible. They accommodated our son to stay with us at very short notice - making him up a bed in our room, sourcing him a last minute ticket for Christmas at Chatsworth House and arranging a children’s menu for him whilst my husband and I enjoyed the tasting menu. The Christmas decor in the hotel was beautiful and the staff gave me a card and chocolate for my birthday. Cannot wait to return again next year! Thank you to all staff for making my birthday break into a great family weekend away!

Beautiful Setting, But Expensive and Poor Service I’ve given this place multiple chances because it’s in such a beautiful location and I live nearby. Sadly, the service has been consistently poor. It takes far too long just to get a drink, and no one ever checks to see if you’d like another. On one visit, we asked to move outside—staff agreed, but no one brought our drinks over or followed up with us at all. For how expensive it is, the lack of basic service is really disappointing. This place has so much potential, but the experience just doesn’t live up to it.

Myself and my husband finally made it for lunch and were rewarded with beautiful views, perfect service, gorgeous meal --- the fish was perfect --- the most glorious weather and outside dining in serene surroundings: a little piece of heaven for an hour or two.

Exceptional hotel in a wonderful location where you can walk into the grounds of Chatsworth House. Very comfortable, spacious and clean room. The hotel distinguishes itself with outstanding levels of service and Michelin quality food. A special thank you to George, the Maitre’D for taking care of us and to all the staff for such a lovely and relaxing stay.

This small “ Country House Hotel” is ideally located just a 25 minute walk across the Park to Chatsworth House. The rooms are adequate for a stay of a few nights, the staff were generally friendly and obliging and the food was tasty. However the service was variable which was disappointing……and the staff didn’t seem too bothered by the delays. Just 14 miles from the bustling M1, past the crooked spire in Chesterfield, the Baslow/Bakewell area was a beautiful revelation and the hotel was ideal for two nights…….but the service issue needs to be addressed!!

We came at the designated time and were told to go into the Bar area where the seating for a group of 10 was difficult. The drinks service was slow. The Barman could have smiled but didn’t! The waitress service however was friendly and helpful. The so-called Superfood salad was unacceptably late arriving and its contents were non-descript. This made the whole Birthday Party experience embarrassing allowing the other nine hot plates to have to start without the salad. The hot mains were very good and as described except the steaks were presented mixed up. The desserts were good and as described. Our host had treated us that day so we would not complain however I would encourage the management to get a grip by walking the job and asking the staff how they would improve matters - they always know!
