Barry Island

The premier inn was really good there was a good welcoming and the rooms was clean and everything was there that you wanted and the staff where polite and helpful it was clean and if we was staying in Barry again would definitely come back to this hotel would also recommend it

The hotel is fine. Staff were helpful, breakfast next door was fine and the location is good for getting to Barry Island. We did think that the building was just a bit tired in a few places. Overall Premier Inn hotels are very consistent across locations and a dependable choice, although not truly budget any more.

Stayed overnight for a wedding. Would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are grubby our bathroom sink was blocked and still had dirty water in it. Still hadn’t been sorted when we checked out. Corridor carpet on ground floor was stained and dirty. Seemed to be short staffed with the receptionist leaving the desk to check on other things. We have stayed in many premier inns with no issues. This premier inn needs an upgrade and good clean

Great stay for our Gavin and Stacey tour! We came to Barry from the Midlands specifically for the Gavin and Stacey tour, and our stay at Premier Inn Barry Island made the whole trip even better. Vicky on reception was so friendly and welcoming – such a lovely surprise to find out she used to work where we’re from! She really made us feel at home. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location – close to everything we needed and ideal for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again. Thanks for a fab stay!

Very comfortable beds. Quiet hotel with very pleasant staff. Clean and good value. Brewers fayre offered great hard working friendly staff and great value food. Close to all places of interest in barry/cardiff so ver handy. Really recommend

Staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Very helpful, stayed on the phone directing me to the car park, explaining where to get food, if required. Either the Brewers Fayre or the local eateries opposite the Inn. Also happy to have food delivered. Location was excellent, short walk to the sea front, or to local bars. Room was very comfortable, I had a small issue with locking the door from inside that was rectified within a few minutes of calling the reception. I would definitely recommend a stay at this Premier Inn. I will certainly use this again.
