The Fanny Talbot

We had an issue with our booking which the lovely Sally sorted wonderfully and was here to greet us when we arrived. What an asset she is, lovely customer service. Our room (number one on ground floor) was beautiful, pristine & so comfy. Beautiful huge shower, fleecy towels, just lush. Lovely crisp linen on the comfy big bed, little kitchenette with all you need if you want to fix yourself food, but my advice is, don’t. Eat & the hotel and you won’t regret it

Location was great as was the welcome. Room clean as was kitchen and bathroom area. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Nice size fridge and enough crockery and cutlery for 2 people. Parking available for guests. All you do is pull up at the barrier, call the pub and they lift the barrier to let you in. Great system. Cannot fault the place - we will be back! Didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on food. Air Conditioning was a great asset during our stay with 30degree heat however, it failed on the 2nd night and dripped water onto the carpet (and possibly into the room below us). Management were swift to bring up a bucket and towels but the constant drip while the unit was being used kept us awake which meant we had to turn it off for the night. Hopefully it was fixed before the next guests arrived.

Recently stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Stayed in room 4, had kitchen area and terrace (no sun on terrace all day). The room was lovely, spacious, very clean, nice bathroom. The room had air conditioning which was good as the room was very warm so this was great. The staff are really nice, breakfast was excellent, you have to place your order the night before and book your breakfast time. There's a nice terrace out front and we sat in the sunshine with a nice cold beer. It's located right on the high street so you're right in the centre of things. The beach is lovely, just a 5 min walk away. There's use of the Tilman car park which is just over the road. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

Great hotel, very spacious rooms with the added benefit of a kitchen area if you need it. We stopped in room 4 on the second floor room was very clean. The hotel has an offsite car which is only a very short walk. We had the breakfast and would highly recommend it. We eat dinner here also which was amazing. Highly recommend and great value for money.

Really pleasant stay Didn't stay here long, only for 1 night, but I could have easily stayed for a week. Really good location and easy to find. Could sleep two people nicely and love that you can cook in your own room, should you wish, not for me but it may suit other people but loved that you had that option. Aircon was really good too. I stayed in room 6, a couple of floors up and that noise from the outside sitting area from the pub was fairly quiet. When I first arrived I thought 'great, it's a pub, this should be interesting' but I was pleasantly surprised, I'd definitely stay again if I was up that way. Everything was easy from check in to check out, drop your keys off in the letter box and you're good to go, so you can leave really early if you need to, like I had to.

Currently staying here the experience so far and I know will continue to be exemplary Savana from the initial booking to now has provided the absolute best service we have ever received in any hotel ! There has been a few power cuts and she has dealt with them in her utterly professional way !
