Lirolay Suites - Apart Hotel

Many thanks to Alejandro and Augustin, and the wonderful people at the Lirolay Suites in Bariloche! I couldn't have wished for a more wonderful first visit, both to Argentina, and to San Carlos de Bariloche. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the captivating beauty of the majestic Andes mountains, and the pristine waters of Nahuel Haupi. When I first arrived, Alejandro was very kind and informative, helping me with my luggage, and offering me fresh baked treats and juice, while informing me of the many things I could experience, both in town, and the beautiful natural surroundings nearby. My cozy suite, complete with an ornate old world brass key, was plush and comfortable, including a fully stocked kitchen, living room with pretty lake views, and a bathroom complete with a jacuzzi tub, rainfall shower, and even a french bedit. Rustic charm with every amenity. The Lirolay, itself, feels like a place right out of a fairy tale, adorned with hand carved cedar and slate, inviting you to enjoy sweeping views of the mountains and lake beyond. Later, during my stay, on a day when the winds and rain changed my hiking plans, Agustin was there to provide me with room service, that made for a nice relaxing afternoon indoors. Everyone at the Lirolay was so kind, including the lovely cat that lounges inside the office and would greet me home after a long day out exploring! I've heard tale, that he is secretly the boss. *wink* Bariloche has so much to offer, with its many amazing restaurants, and its world famous chocolates and ice cream, to hiking to see the cinnamon colored Arrayanes trees, and sharing some delicious roadside empanadas with a crested caracara in the park. I think it may have been said best, when a local mentioned to me, "It feels like being in another world." Bariloche truly is a magical and awe inspiring place that will take your breath away. I recommend the Lirolay to anyone wanting to experience the very best of what Bariloche has to offer. The incredible caring of the managers and relaxing ambiance it provides during your stay are second to none.

Get the suite especial. Has a jacuzzi over looking the water on the top floor. Really spacious. The staff was top notch and very knowledgeable. We did self catering. And the restaurant across the way was awesome. El patecon. Too cold and rainy for the pool.

We went to Bariloche and stayed at Lirolay Suites on the recommendation of our son and his wife who stayed there a few years ago. We couldn’t have been happier! Service was great, the room was very nice- great to have a lot of room to spread out and to have the kitchenette. Most of all, the views were incredible! Every time we walked into the room, we said “wow!!” We were on the top corner to the far left as you face the building which they told us it has the best view. It was nice to have parking although it’s tight to get in and out. We didn’t use the pool or beach, but others were enjoying them. We ordered room service one night- service was quick and food was good. I highly recommend Lirolay and will stay there again if on the area.

The property is beautiful and we were welcomed by the staff. A stunning view from our room of the lake and easy access to a small beach area. The property is some 5 klms out of town in a quiet area . Room service was lovely. We had booked this accommodation for 3 nights and unfortunately due to missing a bus and being unable to arrive on time we only ended up staying one night. We understand the policy but felt it was unfair to be charged for the full 3 nights when no linen, water, cleaning or heating were used for 2. We would have appreciated at least a small discount.

This is a beautiful, calm piece of heaven just outside Bariloche. My room was stunning with large windows overlooking the lake with the mountains in the background. I was particularly stunned by the intimate view of the sun rise and sun set over the water. The room had the most extraordinary facilities including a little jacuzzi overlooking the aforementioned landscape. The staff were kind, efficient, discreet but also willing to engage in interesting conversation if invited to. I felt at home and better cared for than I new what to do with! My only regret about the stay is that I couldn’t stay longer. I will definitely be retuning here if I get the chance to visit Bariloche again.

Lirolay Suites provided my girlfriend and I with the absolute best experience possible in Bariloche. The room was very comfortable, decorative, and fit the setting. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and it was an amazing place to relax at all day, or return to after excursions in Bariloche. However, the best part of staying at Lirolay was the staff. 3 different front desk employees rotated by day and each provided excellent service that over exceeded the norm and made the trip a special experience. We waited until we arrived in Bariloche to plan excursions and these employees were excellent resources and did so much to help us out. They even went above and beyond to help us out when we had a 6 hour layover on our return back through Bariloche. Truly making Lirolay Suites feel like a second home. Recommend to everyone! We are certainly looking forward to returning to Lirolay in the future.
