My mother and I stayed at the Hotel du Lac in May for one week. We had a lovely time. The hotel is reasonably well appointed and our room ( lake view) was very pleasant. Spacious with an L shaped balcony to enjoy the views of Lake Garda. The bathroom was a little dated. We stayed on a half board basis. In the mornings we ate breakfast on the terrace. Plenty of choice from the buffet. Evening meals were served in the dubbing room that I found a bit warm and stuffy. The evening meals were tasty but after a few nights I felt the food was very similar every night. The location of the hotel is perfect! Short stroll in to beautiful Bardolino. The hotel has its own lake pier which is gorgeous for photos and lake swimming. Staff in the main were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and spa area which is fine, not luxurious but pleasant enough. Just be careful in the spa area if you are sensitive as some guests do not wear bathing suits!! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Bardolino.

Firstly, this trip was for my 50th and on my bucket list… I was not disappointed. The hotel was spotless, everyone from the gardeners to the dining staff always friendly and polite. We stayed in the annex building( 30 secs from main hotel). Our room was lovely and the view was breathtaking.. I actually cried. Breakfast was basically whatever you wanted was on offer. Evening meals were 4 course and beautifully done. Special mention for Calin who made sure I was ok after feeling poorly and leaving the dining room early.. and the dining staff all came out with a cake and sang happy birthday to me, everything you need is a five -ten minute walk away.. the center has more shops restaurants and cafes than you can imagine.. I am currently looking for next year during the summer. The ferry’s are brilliant, Torri del benaco is well worth a visit. I fell in love with this hotel and with bardolino and can’t wait to come back.

Just home from a ten day stay. First time in this hotel was ten years ago and it’s still as good if not better than ever. We were in the Bellevue building a short stroll from main hotel. We had a lovely lake view and balcony. Bardolino is a 5-10 minute stroll along the lake shore. You can walk/cycle to Garda or Lazise if you wish. Plenty ferries to lots of lovely towns on the lake. We stayed half board. Breakfast was self service - there was everything you could ever think of to eat - the bread is amazing. Dinner was amazing. Our lovely waiter Colin could not have done enough for us. You pick from the dinner menu in the morning and it is served to you at your assigned table. All the staff are amazing. Thank you Ester on reception who managed to get us booked on the Dolomites trip. If you get a chance do this trip. Scenery is spectacular but it is a long day so be prepared. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

The hotel is very clean with lovely views across Lake Garda, the hotel staff are exceptional and the stalwart male Italian waiters are your typical Italian like what you see on a movie not to be treated disrespectful or else lol. Yes had a great 7 nights at this hotel and it’s been a pleasure we have all enjoyed it

Excellent hotel based on the recommendation of family who came for over 15 years albeit over 10 years ago. It has been a fantastic place to stay and there is nothing we could fault. When we booked we asked for a room with a view and a table at dinner overlooking the lake and this is exactly what we were given. The food, the staff, everything was amazing and a big shout out to Matteo who looked after us at dinner and recommended a fantastic wine which we shall be looking for in the UK. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Hotel Du Lac ❤️

Excellent location with walking path on the lake. The staff is super nice. Food is also excellent. And the room was big. I did not get to try the pool and spa but they looked great. Very close to Bardolino and about 30 minute walk to Garda and Lazise. I can’t wait to be back.

Arrived at the hotel by taxi from Verona Airport. Check in very efficient and provided with maps and boat timetable on request. Our room was in the annex at Bellevue with a balcony overlooking the lake. The room itself was very spacious and the bed firm but comfortable.The hotel in general is rather dated but well maintained. Of particular note was the quality of the breakfast. Self-service from a wide choice of cold meats, cheese and fruit. Hot choice included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and mushroom. Good range of fresh breads, jams and croissants. Other hotel facilities were available but didn't use them due to spending most of our time exploring the area around Lake Garda.

This was our 6th time at Bardolino but our first visit to Hotel Du Lac although we have always stayed at Europlan hotels.This proved to be an excellent choice. We were very pleased with the room we were allocated….Junior Suite Du Lac.The staff were all superb .The reception staff so pleasant and helpful,the lady who cleaned our room each day to an excellent standard and all the restaurant staff were so efficient. A special mention for Calin our waiter who really was outstanding. He could not have been more efficient, polite and friendly.The food here was so very good. I am sure we will visit again in the future.

Hotel very good right on the lake car parking unground rooms clean and spacious lifts to all floors afternoon meals are very tasty nice bar area staff very friendly and nothing is a problem but noticed they were ran off there feet on a nighttime more staff is needed swimming pool clean and lots of beds around it very poor entertainment need to up the artists and more nights with entertainment
