Love the overall vibe of this place (I upgraded my room to Mountain View later on and it’s so good). There is also some sound-proof mechanism in the room and I was able to sleep so well ! (much better than when I was in Lhasa despite the increase in altitude). I was able to have great sleep and naps that prepped me very well for the day’s exploration and hiking.
非常喜欢民宿和房间的整体氛围（后来我升级到了山景房，太棒了）。房墙里还有一些隔音装置，加上这边都是山包围着的；很感谢能让我在海拔高的地方睡得这么好（比两天前在拉萨时好多了）。睡得好，自然进入很好的状态，上山徒步起来很舒服。
Now I know when I visit here again, there is a very comfortable place to stay (am planning to invite friends from Singapore over next year ::) Huge kudos to Mr Doje for bringing this place into existence in the Himalayas and organizing stargazing event every night. The night sky. What a wonder. I’m grateful to be here.

p.s. Mr Doje is also super welcoming and helped me sorted out many stuff (like contacting ppl to find my traveling pillow & headset that I lost while moving around). Super amazing guy.

After the meal, he took us to the roof to see the stars. The enthusiastic little girl helped us make an appointment for the bus to Everest Base Camp the next morning. The location of this hotel exceeds the bus station. You don't have to go to the assembly point to live in his house. It is really convenient to wait for the bus directly at the entrance of the hotel. After the Everest base camp, we left after lunch at his restaurant. The room was very clean, very warm, and the health was good. In short, everything was very good and very satisfied. Because I arrived too late and got up too early, I didn’t take a photo of the room. I provided my two big and two small breakfasts for free. The breakfast cakes were especially delicious. 👍

GGuest UserI stayed at Pingcuo Kangsang in Lhasa and felt good. I saw Mount Everest and cancelled the hotel I was traveling with and booked here myself. I didn't expect it to be better than Lhasa. I feel that I can stay at Pingcuo Kangsang wherever I go in Tibet. The decoration in different regions is quite different, but the quality is very good!
Environment: The hotel is super large, with many courtyard-style guest rooms. There are several sets of outdoor tables and chairs at the entrance of the courtyard, which is very atmospheric. The front desk is in the Mountaineer's House. The lobby is decorated like a cultural exhibition hall, and there are life-size sculptures of Bingdundun and Xue Rongrong.
Service: In the off-season, the front desk upgraded the room type and gave us breakfast. Although the front desk and the guest room are a little far, the two girls at the front desk also helped us carry it over. The hotel has only two floors and no elevator. The girls specifically told us to call the front desk to pick up the luggage the next day. Although there are not many people, the quality and enthusiasm are very good!

Breakfast includes cold cucumbers, peanuts, boiled eggs, pickled mustard, highland barley cakes, tsampa, butter tea and white rice porridge, as well as instant coffee. I don’t know about lunch, but dinner is a hot pot buffet, priced at 88 yuan per person. There are only a few view rooms, and you can see Mount Everest from the room.
