KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed. All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

JJn_foodieBest 5 star property in Sofia hands down. .The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional. There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead. .The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever. It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice. .The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing .The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up. So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done. Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property. To top it up, we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant after checked out and met Vladislav, who gave us an amazing service from food to drinks. Absolutely perfect. I will definitely come back to stay here next time I am in Sofia and will recommend it to everyone who's coming to Sofia.

TTamuThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays. There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

JJFOThis hotel has a wonderful breakfast spread. We enjoyed the breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. There is a wide choice of selection and everything was delicious. The room was clean and spacious, though the furnishings are dated. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Not the best location in Sofia, but convenient for trams. About 10 minutes walk to Sofia centre or Sofia Mall. 5 minutes walk to the Ladies Market. Not many shops or restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel

AAlek MThe hotel has a spa and fitness center. Compared to Western European spas in hotels, here you might receive one towel if you ask at the spa reception. Otherwise there are no others on disposal and there is no water dispenser. You have to buy it or bring it with you. The saunas could be more clean, especially the steam sauna, which was very dirty in the evening. To swim in the pool you need to buy a swimming cap. The food at the breakfast was very delicious, compared to other experiences I made in Sofia. It could be maybe different every day, because the only difference was how the potatoes were prepared. In any case, you have a variety of food to eat and you will not be hungry. I was in another Ramada hotel and this one was on a lower level than the one in Bucharest and needs a renovation in the rooms or in the restaurant. The chairs were dirty there.
