You get what you pay for. Rooms had stained carpets and sofas/stools, however the cleaners did a great job at making up the beds and changing sheets/ towels/ replenishing toiletries daily upon request. No air con, so gets very hot unless you sleep with a balcony door open. Beds are fairly uncomfortable, but what can you expect for such cheap accommodation. The bar is very expensive, would recommend going into town for drinks as town has a nicer environment too. Free continental breakfast- very basic stuff, but can’t complain too much as it is included in the price of your stay. The shuttle bus to the gondola is a great service provided, and the driver is very polite and friendly. It’s a shame I can’t say that for all of the staff. The receptionist with brown hair is lovely, she makes a real effort to speak English and her customer service is excellent! The blonde receptionist, on the other hand, is extremely rude. She makes you feel unwelcome, she definitely does not like English people. She shouted at me in Bulgarian for refilling my water bottle at breakfast (I paid for this!) How absurd! When I appeared confused, she proceeded to physically smack my bottle and shout ‘no no no’ very aggressively- as a young female - it was quite scary actually.

Could not fault them. Not the poshest, but everything you could want and more. We had a lovely comfortable stay. Good breakfast, we recommend the hot chocolate - button 6. Great shuttlebus and lovely steam room and hot tub. Lovely staff too! Thank you!

Good hotel/ friendly staff/. Good internet/good breakfast/warm room lots of hot water, actually looks better than the photos, very happy stay with my family Jan 2024. Shuttle bus was prompt, though you could walk to the gondola in 15 mins.

Was worried about coming here as some bad reviews but we arrived and had one of the best 8nights stay here they staff are lovely all the cleaners bar staff and the bus which drops u to gondola every day is amazing .could not fault anything on this hotel at all for the price also new years eve we got invited to happy end bar all thanks to hotel we had 3 course meal and free drinks it was amazing night thanks so much to hotel mura for funding this made our night so surprised... breakfast is hot and cold which my children were happy with and they are picky eaters the steam room and jacuzzi was lovely after day of skiing. we will be booking again to stay here great stay 😀

Very basic. Everything was clean but very worn out. The breakfast was AWFUL, I can normally find something to eat but couldn't. The staff didn't speak much English so google translate was used a lot but they did try to help. Not a bad position, 15 mins walk from the gondala

Had a very good trip with very good friends but the Mura hotel in bansko was pretty awful tbh. The room we stayed in was very run down,ancient tv that barely worked,heavily stained carpet,walls covered in marks. Breakfast was dreadful,actually didn’t bother one morning.I would never stay here again,cheap yes but dreadful.

STAY AWAY if you are English…. They will make it blatantly obvious that you are not wanted… the location is ok, but all of the staff are so rude. If you complain about something the manager just smirks at you, then talk about you in Bulgarian. SERIOUSLY DO YOUR RESEARCH AND FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE…

Good hotel. Breakfast was nice, there was lots of variety. Lovely jacuzzi and steam room downstairs which was free. Clean rooms, free shuttle to and from the gondola which was very convenient. Only downside is that it is quite dated and some of the staff came across slightly rude. Also, it would be good if the shuttle bus went on later in the day as it is very close to when the lifts close.

Lovely clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good value for the price. Sauna and jacuzzi were excellent. Shuttle bus was always on time. Breakfast was well presented and fresh everyday. Rooms were made up everyday. Lovely hot showers which were greatly appreciated after a long day skiing. Close to the pretty old town which was filled with great restaurants.
