Bed Station Hostel Khaosan

The location is perfect for those who like to party in Khaosan Road. It’s just walking distance from the hostel. The hostel gives cool and chill vibe. They have outdoor pool and mini gym. I heard they have activities at the hostel everyday but sadly I wasn’t able to join in. Maybe I was just too introverted haha. I just wish they could have some activities where it’s easy for solo travelers to join in.

確定了入住再定，因為衹要預訂了就沒辦法退，環境方面還是挺不錯的，有游泳池，洗衣房，酒吧，各個國家的人都有，不社恐英語又好的可以嘗試一下可能會有很好的邂逅

The hostel is very nice with comfy bedding keeping privacy. Shared areas are very clean and although music is played until quite late the insonorisation is great. The atmosphere is nice with friendly employees and easy doing people. You won’t struggle making friends as everyone is reunited at the hostel bar on evenings and by the pool during the day. There is no air conditioning in the shared bathrooms which make them very very warm. Location is also perfect if you want to be near Khao San Road where all the bars are located. It is also a bit expensive for Bangkok but definitely worth a try.

We stayed here for three nights in a private ensuite room, paying just over £40 in total, so we weren’t expecting anything fancy. The location is great – right across the road from a 7-11, and only about a 5-minute walk to Khaosan Road and loads of street food stalls. Despite being close to Khaosan, you don’t hear the noise from the nightlife, which was good. The hostel is quite lively, and there’s a curfew with the music stopping at 11 pm, which we appreciated. But we still got woken up a lot by people coming back from partying – you can hear everything through the thin walls, which was a bit annoying. As for the room, it wasn’t great. The bed was rock hard, the shower was stuck between cold and lukewarm every time, and the air con couldn’t be turned off, so the room was absolutely freezing. There was also a tiny window that couldn’t be locked, which felt a bit unsafe as someone could’ve potentially climbed in. On top of that, the room wasn’t very clean either. That said, the staff were nice and really helpful. They left bottles of water outside our room every day, which was a nice touch. The 24/7 reception was also handy, especially since we had to check out really early for a flight. All in all, it’s not the best place, especially if you are looking for a private room, but for the price, it does the job. You get what you pay for!
