Pride Resort Ambaji

We visited this resort with my family. The rooms and bathrooms were too small, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast there, but the variety in food was very limited. Taste-wise, the food was good. Another concern was that the restaurant is located far from the rooms, which made it difficult for elderly people to reach. Overall, the experience was average

This was our 2nd stay in The Pride Resort Ambaji after our previous stay on the new year. Conveniently located outside the city limits and thus away from the usual hustle bustle and noise of the pilgrim location , yet merely a 10 minute's drive from the main Ambaji temple, The Pride Resort Ambaji scores full marks for its location. Being a fresh construction this property is in ship-shape. There are hill facing rooms and marble mine facing rooms. View of the hills, fresh green in the monsoon rains and with clouds clinging to them, is so scintillating that one can spend an entire day gazing through the windows. Rooms and washrooms are standard sized and furnished, with no space for an extra mattress. The restaurant is a short walk away from the main hotel building. Despite the crowding due to weekend rush of guests it was not difficult to get a table in the restaurant. The menu spread was relatively restricted but tasty and of good portion sizes. The chef was able to tweak the recipes to meet the dietary restrictions of some of our family members. Some issues encountered by us during our latest stay at the Pride Resort Ambaji: No toiletries were provided in the washrooms. We were told that the hotel had run out of stock for soap and were advised to use shampoo for hand washing. Only one bath towel was provided in a twin occupancy room and we had to ask for the 2nd one. Only two 500ml bottles of drinking water were provided in a twin occupancy room. The air-conditioner needed several times attention by the technician. The TV didn't work at all. Due to lack of adequate covered parking space we had to park our Harrier overnight in pouring rains. Karan in the reception with his team tried to mitigate these problems within the constraints. The Pride Resort remains our favorite stay at Ambaji for the location and the window views and the food, above all other pros and cons.

Great hotel with great ambiance, nice swimming pool, lavish green garden, highly recommended this resort.staff is very courteous, and attentive.food was delicious, ample parking space., Villa is ultimately designed, feel like unique.
