Grandview Apartments

"The location is perfect. 6 mins drive from Ballina town center in a quiet side street on a hill overlooking Shelly beach. We were in 301, and felt misled by the minimal ocean view blocked by trees and houses in front. The third floor is more like a 1st floor as the building is lower set than the street. The underground parking is nice and apartment was clean and modern. Let down by a dishwasher that did not work (staff was able to get it working once) and pans in terrible unusable condition. No coffee pod machine. No soap dispenser in bathroom just a 10 ml bottle and 1" hand soap to last 3 night stay. Would've expected better for close to 600 a night. Clearly individual apartments and facilities vary. The location was the only saving grace."

"Average accommodation. Bed was very hard which effect our sleep along with the cabin  being situated beside a busy main road  which was extremely noisy & it wasn’t school holidays. The plus side was that we were in walking distance of the shops & cafes. I felt it was over priced for what you received."

"Absolutely the last resort for accommodation Rooms are “bleach clean” sheets clean, bathroom tiny, outlook is to a car park, no microwave, jug was not useable due to foreign matter inside it, pillows were wafer thin. The whole place has seen much better days. The Pub served decent food at a great price, staff were pleasant but would never stay in the room again"
