Honestly if i could give 0 or even negative stars for this 'hotel' i would. i really do not recommend this 'hotel' at all. It is more of a hostel with private rooms than it is a hotel! It is absolutely dreadful, we checked out (or tried to) within the hour. In a nutshell these are the issued we had - Poorly lit and dangerous steps - Unmanned site with management/staff hard to contact. - Infestation of bugs in our room - Poorly advertised. Room not like the pictures shown/ the Room we booked. First of all when our taxi driver dropped us off at the top of the cliff in the evening it wasn't clear where the hotel was or the directions in which we needed to go in, so we called the hotel to which the staff weren't the most welcoming or overly thrilled when we asked for help with our luggage, there seemed to be a bit of attitude on the phone however they could have been due to miscommunication. However two ladies came to help us and they carried our heavy cases down the 90 steep steps which we were incredibly grateful for. These steps down tot he hotel however were not safe at all, especially at night, they are steep, no handrails and poorly lit at night, whilst the hotel states there are 90 steps down to it, it does not emphasise how bad and dangerous these steps are, especially when wet (we did go in rainy season, so the steps were extremely slippery which can be forgiven but with drops to the side and nothing to hold onto they didnt feel safe. We personally felt like you had to be back in the room before dark which isnt what we wanted to do. We were then quickly shown to the room, where we were informed the site would be unmanned from 10:30pm. We did not feel comfortable with this, but it is something we could look past. Then once the manager had left and we had a look around the room, we weren't overly impressed as it looked nothing like what we had booked, the pictures made it look modern and nice, This was not the case. We tried to see past it but then we noticed it was infested with lots of bugs EVERYWHERE! This was when we knew we could not stay in this room. We tried contacting management multiple time across the next hour but there was no answer at all and we were told she was no longer on site and wouldn't be until the evening of the next day. We decided we could not stay in a hotel infested with bugs so we booked the Raddison Blu at the top of the cliff (Highly Highly recommend!) and we left before it was too dark to climb up the steep steps. Once the manager finally made contact she came up with excuses as to why she wasnt contactable (we understand not everyone is readily available but we felt someone should of been able to help) When she finally responded she messaged me and i quote 'We dont have bugs but we do have ants, flying insects and geckos in our room' for me, and we have videos for proof etc, there were too many bugs. Yes i know it is located in a area full of nature, but we really shouldn't be finding the cast of a
