Ambalama Villa

We arrived late , but Ayu was there to greet us with a cold towel and a warm smile . The villa sits on beautiful grounds with stunning flowers & plants , The pool area has enough sun beds and towels for all guests which all overlook the pool and the grounds . The infinity pool is just perfect to cool down in . By the pool is a very nice chilling area with rattan furniture and a huge table , which is undercover. We sat there most evening for drinks, and enjoyed listening to all the insects in the gardens . It was so beautiful at night . The dining table was big enough to sit 10 guests ,but additional seating is available. There is a fridge for guest to put drinks in by the pool. We had breakfast everyday and some lunches & dinners . Ayu and her team were incredible, nothing was any trouble , whatever we wanted we got . Always smiling and ready to help . The chef did an amazing job catering for us . There are 4 rooms plus a villa . We didn’t see inside the villa. But the 4 rooms are identical in layout. There is a king size bed with beautiful bedding, had the best nights sleep, so comfortable it looks out onto a courtyard with a beautiful water feature. The room is large with plenty of space , there is drinking water in the room along with a kettle for tea & coffee . The bathroom is connected by a sliding door which is outside , there are 2 sinks, toilet a bath which are undercover. The shower is amazing as it is outside and looking up at the stars at night is quite something. There is plenty of wardrobe space out here also . It’s the perfect place for a chilled week or two, we could have stayed longer . The team that look after Ambalama are so kind . It’s just heavenly staying here . We will definitely be back .

Had a brilliant week at Ambalama. The villa is just gorgeous, beautiful view over the fields, and a lovely frangipani tree hanging over the pool. We had extended family from Australia and UK gather for a small reunion and just had a fantastic time. Safe for kids, super comfortable rooms and beds, food was great and the staff were so kind and helpful every day. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous place. Clever blend of modern architecture and materials with traditional ones. Beautiful generous sized rooms with plenty of outdoor space. Ayu and her team looked after us so well, from the warm welcome, the catering, booking stuff for us - talk about being spoilt. Given how busy Canggu has become this is an oasis of calm.

Back for the 8th time at Ambalama Villa Bali – because when you find paradise, you keep coming back for more! This place has become my Bali home away from home. From the beautiful interiors to the laid-back vibes by the pool, it's the kind of place where you can kick back in luxury flip-flops. The food? From local delights to international cuisine, the food here is a testament to the chef's artistry. Dining at the villa is not just a meal; it's a celebration of exquisite taste and culinary expertise. The staff? Pure class. They feel like old friends, they always make every moment feel effortless, like you're living your best Bali life. If relaxation had a headquarters, it would be right here. Roro PS. Ambalama provided the perfect venue for spending a great time with friends while also enjoying some romantic evenings with your partner. The villa rooms are well appointed and very private and there are many wonderful public spaces to enjoy the views and the company of friends. The staff was delightful and accommodating to all reasonable requests and the food was divine. The Villa manager Ayu provided that personal and special touch that allowed us to also connect with Balinese culture. It was a truly magical experience

The staff at Villa Ambalama were amazing and made our stay incredibly special. The location is beautiful and tranquil and just what we needed after our wedding in Nusa Dua. The Villa itself is a work of art and I think better than the photos represent on the website. We will definitely be back and special thanks to Ayu and her team!
